This kit comes with many options. 2 styles of mirrors, 4 attachment bases, 3 diffent lengths of arms, cleaning wipes. wrench. Two helmets can be geared up if needed with the 2 differnt mirrors. I did some exploring with all the options and chose the 3M stick on pad, longest arm and the flat mirror. So far it is working great. I followed the dirrections and cleaned the helmet well, attached the 3M base and waited 24 hours before attaching the arm. So far so good. It is sticking well. If it comes lose I will try on of the other bases. There are adjustments on the base and mirror to lock in the arm and keep it from moving and these hold well. And one thing I really like is just loosen a bit when done riding the and the mirror can be moved next to the helment and in a safer position form breaking. Or if you dont want to use a mirror just move it out of the way or it can easily be removed. Very nice setup. All the pieces are of good quality and it appears they will last a while. One thing I did notice is if your are getting a little older and have trouble focusing on close items (presbyopia) the shorter arms may not work very well for you due to being blurry. Read more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I purchased smaller mirrors in the past - all highly regarded. Not only are they too small to capture a good window into the activity behind you but they vibrate tremendously. The PIDZOOM mirror is very good engineering with a generous supply of choices to meet the needs of anyone wearing a helmet. The install instructions do not really help much and it took 3 YouTube videos to really sink in the A-B-C installation, which is simple. The instructions on the back of the box not only suffer from poor readability but do more to describe what you have vs HOW to install what you have. A QR code that led me to the support website videos also served as product demo's vs actual support to choose a length, a mirror and get up and running. The product is so well-thought, I'm not going to knock off a star for lacking instruction. Functionality: Your choice of angle, in every direction — priceless control. The large arm was best for me, allowing me more flexibility of angle choices. Stability: Very little vibration while riding, your view is consistent. Vision: The mirrors themselves are crystal clear and "true." They are broad. I chose the flatter mirror which is more close-up but still shows me the entire road behind me, more than I could have asked for. Read more

I've ridden with a helmet mirror literally for decades. Until I discovered this one, I always used the EVT Safe Zone mirror and was mostly happy with it. Until now, there really wasn't any serous competition. The PidZoom mirror, however, is simply a superior product, both in design and execution. The mounting options are impressive. You will almost certainly be able to mount this mirror in a way that makes you happy, regardless of your helmet style. Whichever mounting option you choose, it will be both easily adjustable and seriously stable. And you will be able to easily move the mirror between helmets if you wear more than one. The mirror itself is bright, has a wide and clear viewing angle, and allows you to scan the entire road behind you with a slight turn of the head. This is just the best helmet mirror I've ever used. At $40, it's a bargain. For riders who are skeptical of helmet mirrors, I say, with respect, just buy this! OK, so I am an EUC rider, I ride in the street at about car pace, so I need to be able to see all around me... I decided to try these out.. Pros—So this is really good. The mirror is not too distorted but has a little curve for a better view. It is wide, which is great as it's easy to see both lanes regardless of your position. The reflective tape on them is pretty cool, too. They have multiple mounts for any type of use. I put mine on the brim and one on the chin. The different-length poles are great, no matter where you want to put them on your helmet. Quick release so you can take it off quickly if you have to. Cons - Good quality but still breakable, I would have liked to see a little stronger plastic used for the arms and the mount placement piece... I only dropped a star for this as. I have a feeling I am going to toss something on them and it will break one of the arms... I will update this review in 6 months, if it lasts, there will be no con. A helmet mirror is an additional form of safety for defensive riding for any PEV or cyclist. I would say the Pidzoom mirror helmet mirrors is one of the best. Here are some of the pros and cons of the Pidzoom mirror and I have several for my different helmets. Pros: Improved Safety and Visibility - The Pidzoom mirror comes with 2 mirrors, one that is concave and one that is flat to give the view of traffic behind you, it allows you to keep your attention forward while still staying aware of what's happening around you. This can be particularly helpful when riding in busy traffic or on winding roads where turning your head constantly could disrupt your balance, especially on an EUC. Lightweight and Compact This mirror don’t interfere with the helmet’s fit or aerodynamics, especially when riding 30-40 mph and doesn't vibrate much. Wide Range of Adjustability It comes with several sized arms and adjustability knobs that enable one to to fine-tune the angle. I would check the screws though every so often or put locktite on them. Cons: The adhesive is not that great that comes with the mirror is not that great and will cause the mirror to fall off. I would replace it with 3m automotive adhesive tape or nanotape. Read more
