Fantastic mat!! And even more fantastic-er because of the price!!! It came packaged super well with a wide plastic wrap in the middle so it didn't expand, and then it was completely wrapped to hold it all in place. The material is soft-ish, not rigid - almost like a yoga mat type feeling, so you will have imprints from your trainer/shoes/etc. - but it will go away. The size is perfect for my bike & trainer as you can see in the photo (the bike is 55cm w/700c tires), and it is pretty light in weight. I also sweat a lot, and if any of it drops onto the mat, it just stays there until I wipe it down or it evaporates. It also functions very well to dampen the noise and vibration from riding the bike, so that is a huge plus for me living in an apartment. I've been using it for several weeks now and it has been great. I should note that because of its material, it does have a pretty strong plastic/PVC smell to it. True to size, nice thickness, using it for an elliptical m6. It fits perfectly. So far, so good. I have not had it that long, but I can add any comments to its perfectness, if needed. But right now, it was a good price, had great reviews, and fits my machine with room to spare. My elliptical feels sturdy and steady, even when I am running on it. There is no noise and all seems very stable. The mat has a softness and cush, but not bulk. It comes rolled but lies flat mostly, just the very ends are not totally flat, yet. Placed under a Peloton bike, despite not anticipating much sweat to develop while riding leisurely in Zone 2. Ha - ninety percent of my rides are in Zones 4 &5 and the mat gets very wet under my upper body. This mat is essential to keeping the exercise area clean - and rug dry.
