I ordered this specifically for tanning and have found this perfect for my needs. This suit, in addition to being adorable in the Starry Night print, is pretty itsy-bitsy, and all of the straps and bits can easily be shifted a bit one direction or another, so it's possible to use this to get a tan that a more substantial suit will cover up. It's not a very high coverage suit, but it's not supposed to be. The fabric feels typical of the quality you'd find in a big-box bathing suit, which is what I would expect in the price range. It isn't at all supportive. (But string bikinis usually aren't.) The fit is super flexible. I am a 36e to 36f, and ordered a 2xl. Because of the tie-strings it's very, very adjustable, and I probably could have gone down to an L or XL if I wanted to and still achieved the same things. Read more
