These are lovely up lights for the garden. I selected daylight option and enjoy the brightness in the garden at night. Various effects can be achieved by tilting the in-ground light stem to shine light at things in bloom, garden statues, etc. Very bright. Device lasts years. From previous experience, I've learned that after sitting outside for some time, the back of the device is hard to read, meaning it is hard to tell at a glance if the device is on or off. These are awesome. Some things to know first. They are very “cheap” and they could break very easy assembling them and putting them in the ground. You just need to know this up front and use common sense when assembling. I used a piece of rebar and pounded it into the ground to “pre- dig” a hole so they would go in to the ground easy and also come out easy. I think if you tried to use pressure to get the lights flush in the round you would break off the plastic. Again, common sense, they look like they are meant to press into the ground but they are cheap cheap plastic, use something to create a hole first then press them in. I noticed people complained about them not working, I have two suggestions before you decide they really don’t work. One, there is a small toggle switch on the bottom of the light you have to switch that to the on position. Secondly, I thought some of mine didn’t work because half of them came on and half didn’t, however, after it got a little darker they did all come on. They do not add any functional light at all, so don’t expect them to light a path or anything like that. They add a beautiful edge to help outline areas but they shine straight up so the light does not spread outward at all. My sprinklers go off every day and drench them and I have had no issues so far so they do seem water resistant as they say. I would buy these again. Read more

Great solar lights to accent your landscaping, low to the ground make it a perfect height and the lights are strong enough to last all night even when sun is not so strong. This gives the front of my home a new look and compliments from neighbors. They are easy to set in place without the need to dig a hole. this was my second purchase of these lights.. They are very nice lights for lighting a walkway, (so Amazon delivery people could find their way to the door at night!!) without having a light sticking up from the ground. They are easy to install, as long as there is a place in the ground to put the stick holder into dirt. They seem to stay put. Buy more than you think you need, however, because they start bright, but lose their brightness, over the course of time. some faster than others. Within a bit more than a year, even in the same area, getting similar bright solar input, some faded in brightness much sooner than others, and some stopped charging/lighting up all together, so be aware that you may have to replace individual ones at very different intervals, long before all of them need to be replaced. By the 2nd year, almost all needed to be replaced, as they were no longer bright enough to serve the purpose. I rated them a bit lower, despite still repurchasing them, because I had expected ( i guess incorrectly) that being solar charged, they would last a lot longer. These ground lights are very bright and work all night long. However, one of the 12 lights, completely stopped working. I notified the seller, and was not able to send me a replacement for one. They did compensate me back for the cost of one. It may not have been much, but just the fact the seller listened and reimbursed me speaks VOLUMES for this seller.
