Billabong womens New Waves Stripe Casual Pants Salt Crystal Large US

Ok, let me say first, I already have these in blue; I love them and they make my husband want to take me on vacation so I thought I’d come back for the salt Crystal color. They are white, with a burnt orange and peach stripe; I’ve included a picture since Amazon didn’t really give us a close up. The blue ones in a L fit me (140ish lbs and 5’7, with awkwardly long legs) perfectly. They are pretty sheer, so buy yourself some invisible undies and you’re golden. I’m assuming the salt crystal pair would’ve been just as easy-breezy-beautiful as my blue ones BUT… … the cuffs were stained with gray dirt, they smelled and felt like sunscreen, and THE CROTCH WAS STAINED YELLOW. Obviously I didn’t try them on and have washed my hands about 18 times. So…if you can get a pair that someone hasn’t destroyed and inconsiderately returned, they seem like they would’ve been great but you’re rolling the dice on quality control. Read more

These were really cute, unfortunately I had to return due to the sizing being off. I’m usually a medium, but I ordered a large based on other reviews saying they ran small. One of the front pockets was also tweaked and made the silhouette look wonky. The length was great though. I’m 5’8 and liked that they were long enough. I guess I’ll order an XL. Read more

The pants were a perfect fit but being 100% cotton I returned them. They will definitely shrink. The problem is I ordered these on the "Try before you buy" feature. That's why the 2 stars, not for the pants but for the delivery/return issue. I've enjoyed that option before but I'm not using it again because I DID send them back within the week. For a month now, it's read "return in transit" in my orders. I figured it was a done deal. Amazon is usually really good about keeping track of shipments. Well, today they've charged my account because they never received these pants. I have no idea what I did with the return receipt. I'm very disappointed. Maybe all the bad things I've been hearing about Amazon are true??? I order A LOT of stuff from Amazon so I might have to rethink that. I love these pants! They are flattering, lightweight and fast-drying and very comfortable. At least three times women have approached me at the pool or the beach to ask where I got these. They are nice enough to wear on a plane or dress up for a casual dinner. The material does wrinkle/texture a bit after the first wash, but it actually makes the pants cuter. They’d steam or iron easily. I’m 5”10, ~150 and ordered a large. The waistband is the right width and slimming. They have the right balance of fit and flow—tailored through the butt/ thighs and the right amount of flow through the legs. I was worried the vertical stripes would look like clown pants or a fumigation tent. But these are great! The pockets are big and well placed. They are deep enough that if you sit in a low beach chair stuff won’t dump out of your pockets. The pockets won’t replace a small purse or beach bag—your pants will sag if you fully load them. They are a little sheer, not a problem for me if I’m wearing at the beach. If you are wearing as pants, you might want neutral underwear. Read more

These pants are super cute- but unfortunately I had to return them as they were way too long. I ordered the large- I wear a 10-12 in pants typically and I am 5' 4" tall. Even with heels, these pants were way too long. Bummer! Read more

I’m 6’ tall and it’s difficult to find pants that are long enough. These are great! I wouldn’t mind if they were an inch or two longer, but I’ll take what I can get. I’m normally a size 6/M, but I had to return and get a L to get them to lay right. Besides that, they’re really nice quality and breathable. Perfect for spring and summer! Read more

These are flattering and comfortable. They are semi sheer as they are meant to be beach pants. I'm about a size 6-8, 5'4, 120-126lbs and ordered large. As they are cotton you can wash them gently and dry them gently to manipulate the size a bit which got the length perfect, but I was careful. Read more
