This is an amazing light. I bought it to replace a headlight that broke, and this is better in so many ways. It’s brighter, it’s more portable, and it doesn’t take batteries, it’s rechargeable. You can position it like a lamp on the BBQ shelf, or wear it around your neck for walking or in the garden. It’s easier that positioning an elastic band around your head, and the elastic always loses its stretch. The only negative is the “on” button is hard to locate when you want it. A sturdy and well functioning light. It charges quickly using a C adapter. I find the on and off switch a bit difficult to locate, but have found that by orienting the flashlight the same way when using it, the issue is resolved. It is a very bright and handy light. Read more

I could see the appeal of this light as a hands free flashlight, as it wraps around your neck (or even your head). It has 4 settings: spotlight, diffuse warm white light, diffuse cool white light, and single lamp. I'm constantly getting confused over which button is the power button, and which is the mode button. I'm not sure what the usefulness of the different temperatures of light is, but it seems to be the trend among rechargeable lights recently. Be careful how you charge this - I had to replace one of them because I think I blew the charging circuit by trying to use my fast charger. After that it would light up if it was plugged in, but didn't seem to charge. Read more

I ordered the BIMEOE Store's 300 Lumens Outdoor Neck Light & Book Light with 3800mAh Rechargeable Battery. I have mixed thoughts on this reading light. It is much heavier--in a good way--than other reading lights that I have had in the past. It feels like it should be a higher quality and durable reading light, as it is so substantial. It is highly flexible and comfortable to wear upon the neck. When I first used this light, it was great--with different cool-toned and warm-toned lighting options and brightness levels. However, that did not last long. One of the lights has stopped working for me. I have recharged it several times and the light began working again temporarily, but it did not last long before it started strobing and eventually went out. I suspect that I have a faulty bulb or product. I hesitate to get rid of it, though, because at full compacity it was a really great reading light. For this price point, it is worth the value IF you get a fully functioning product, but unfortunately, mine is not. Read more
