This supplement comes in thin capsules, there’s enough for one month. The box has plenty of information on the health benefits of this supplement. It is easy to swallow and there is no after taste. I take it for ease of mind to lower the odds of urinary tract infection since I had a painful one a year ago. I think it works also to eliminate any discomfort in general. L-reuteri is my favorite probiotic, so I was happy to find this Bio-K+ Women’s Health supplement with RC-14, especially since I haven’t tried this strain before. Limosilactobacillus reuteri is a large family of bacteria, and each of the strains is known for a different health effect, as is shown in many published and peer-reviewed studies. Each strain of L-reuteri is usually also health-promoting in general, beyond the specific use for which it was studied. So far I’ve tried four different strains of L-reuteri, always with positive results. I’ve even cultured homemade yogurt with one of the strains, following the online directions from Dr. William Davis. This bottle of probiotic arrived in a pink, glued-shut Bio-K+ box. Under the bottle cap was a glued-down “sealed for your protection” foil-backed seal. No cotton. The bottom ⅓ of the bottle contained small capsules filled with a light-cream-colored powder. The capsules are odorless and tasteless, and are very easy to swallow. The box and bottle were both stamped with the same lot number and expiration date. It's amazing that such a tiny pill can be so full of goodness. The beneficial bacteria in these which are 2 Billion per capsule have a remarkable effect on my urinary tract. As I age I've noticed increased sensitivity to acidic beverages and have at times had to give up my morning coffee or suffer with burning in my vaginal area. When I drank coffee I also had more frequent urination plus kidney pain. After 10 days of taking this tiny pill in the a.m. with a glass of water I can enjoy coffee without irritation. This is huge for me because I need that caffeine jolt to get started and plus I really enjoy a good coffee or two. They are working and providing me with much needed relief. I trust Bio K+ because as they state they are the Gold Standard. I have used their other products when I needed a quick fix from having an upset stomach due to illness or to repopulate good bacteria after taking an antibiotic. This is a smaller than usual capsule. Easy to swallow. The bottle is half full. Meaning that the bottle is bigger than needed. I did not count the number of tablets; I trust the count. Just saying that the bottle will appear half full. Product is as described, because the ingredients are clearly listed on the ad page. It is too soon to note if the product has any effect. But I do believe in probiotics. And in the hot summer months when swimming, I am usually in greater need to take a vaginal and urinary probiotic. Price seems a bit high. But I have not done sufficient research to compare against other products. With it containing a probiotic "blend" I have to do research to understand more what exactly that means. Product comes adequately packaged to be tamper resistant. Loved the vacuum seal under the cap to protect the bottle. Bottom of box properly had a lot number and expiration date for traceability.
