The towels are soft and absorbent. Not rough at all like some other reviews say. Super thick. Not like other towels that have that weird slippery fabric and only spread water around without drying. I washed only one towel to test. It seems very well made. Color didn't change. The towel didn't shed. Edit: I washed towels with vinegar and then with baking soda and they are super absorbent now. Was hesitant spending $42 on two bath towels. I am totally glad that I did so. Can't say enough about them. They washed up great! No color fading or even bleeding on lighter colored towels that were washed with them. The color I chose was the burnt orange and it's beautiful. Very rich. There was no lint in washing machine. As expected, there was a goodly amount of lint in dryer but not extensive. I did partially air dry and dried on medium heat. They are super soft, extremely absorbent and dried quickly after use. Genuinely add a touch of love and joy to my space. They still make me smile when I see them and I bought them in October. The sage green is so calming whilst bold. Towels themselves are soooooo soft. Some threads are coming off from washes, but the towels are all still together and totally worth the mental wellbeing + calm they bring!🧘🏽‍♀️ OEKO-TEX & 100% organic cotton can’t get much better than that. *note the green is most definitely an olive even tho it is marketed as sage!! Bought these as they were one of the only towel sets that came in the bath sheet size, as well as had the dusty, muted sage color I was looking for. The color is exactly as expected, and the size looks great. They are not terribly soft, but texture is ok. I have not tried laundering them yet. Read more

Buying organically-grown fabric produced under stringent safety conditions is important for my family's health, that of the workers who make it possible for us to enjoy luxury towels, and for our air, land and water. I tracked the GOTS and Oeko-Tex Made in Green standards certification numbers online, with confirmations from the issuing agencies. With a higher GSM, there are more fibers per square inch, which makes for a more dense, thick and durable product. Excellent construction, with consistent weave, precise sizing and secure seams. Lint after washing and drying per instructions was minimal for new cotton: the amount for the whole set compressed to squeeze out air was the size of a golf ball. After the second laundering, the set shed lint equalling the size of a ping-pong ball. Cost for this high-quality bath set is quite reasonable, given very high tariffs. My set was purchased and received early March in the US directly from Amazon. Given they were in Amazon's inventory, they may have arrived under the 50% tariffs imposed on Indian textiles through January 2026. An interim agreement in February 2026 lowered the tariffs to 18%, but rates are volatile. Nor do I expect manufacturers or sellers to cover those charges. We have had terrible luck buying bath towels. After a couple of washes they start unraveling and just generally become horrible. These towels are total winners. Plush, absorbent and sturdy. I highly recommend them. Read more
