Love these sunglasses. They fit perfectly and definitely reduce glare. I used the polarize tester provided on all my other sunglasses and I have three I kept as spare and the five that didn’t pass the test I am parting with. Read more

I have a number of “grab a pair at the checkout counter” sun glasses, but the features on these are a nice step up. They may cost more but the style, color and quality is worth it for me. I love green, and the olive green color was a big draw. It could also pass as a muted army green, but it's definitely a step above the bright or garish greens out there. It’s stylish and current without being flashy. The frame material feels solid as though weighty, but the glasses are not heavy at all. I like that the frames are transparent - they look and feel like more than basic plastic frames. The round frame shape is one I already know works well for my face shape - or at least I like how they look on me. And width is just right so they sit securely without squeezing, which also keeps them from slowly sliding down my nose on hot days. The hinges feel well designed too - firm and controlled rather than loose or overly springy when opening and closing. The lenses are polarized and cut glare - colors still look natural, not overly dark or altered. I really appreciate any glasses that have UV protection like these do. Overall, these feel like a more thoughtfully made pair of sunglasses than the more inexpensive options. Between the sturdy acetate frame, secure fit, and polarized lenses, they are worth the price if you want something that looks nicer and holds up better for everyday wear. Especially if you're drawn to one of their harder to find frame colors like I was. Read more

BIRCEN sunglasses are generally regarded as a high-value, budget-friendly alternative to premium brands, and this pair did not disappoint. I ordered the blue with gray-blue lenses and they are very pretty. The polarization is impressive. They include a tester card that reveals a hidden image when the glasses are worn to demonstrate the UV blocking. I tested several other pairs I own and none revealed the image. The product description confirms UV400 protection. Visual clarity is excellent with no distortion, and the gray-blue tint keeps colors true without changing hues. I have a long face and struggle to find sunglasses that suit me, but this round retro shape looked really nice. The thicker frame adds to the vintage vibe while giving them a quality feel. They are lightweight, the hinges are tight, and there is slight flexibility in the frame that keeps them comfortable without feeling flimsy. I wore these for several hours while driving and noticed less eye strain than usual, making them well suited for driving or other activities that require long stretches in the bright sun, like fishing, or baseball games. They come with a soft pouch and microfiber cleaning cloth, which adds to the value. For a mid-range price point, these offer features often found in higher-end brands, including a six-month warranty, which is rare at this price. Overall, these are stylish, comfortable, well-made sunglasses that deliver strong performance at a very reasonable price. Read more

I absolutely love these sunglasses. The frame is what first caught my eye. The deep navy color with flecks of brighter blue throughout is so pretty and unique. In the light, you can really see the dimension in the acetate, and the glossy finish makes them look much more expensive than they are. The small metal details on the corners give them a subtle vintage vibe that I really like. The lenses are very dark, which I prefer, but they still have just a hint of blue that complements the frame beautifully. They reduce glare noticeably, and everything looks crisp and comfortable, especially while driving. My eyes feel relaxed even in bright sunlight. They feel sturdy but not heavy, and the round shape is super flattering. I’ve worn them running errands and out to lunch, and they just pull everything together instantly. The extras were a nice surprise too. They include a polarized test card, a microfiber cloth, and even a tiny screwdriver keychain for adjustments. But the oversized microfiber pouch is what really impressed me. It’s so big that I can fit the sunglasses, all the accessories, and even another pair of sunglasses inside. That alone makes them great for travel. Overall, I’m genuinely impressed with the quality and look of these. I would definitely buy another pair in a different color. Such a great find! Read more

When it comes to cheap sunglasses, I tend to aim very cheap because I will inevitably lose or scratch them, or my kids will. These are priced a little higher than I typically prefer to pay, but not completely outrageous. I wore them for the first time on a very sunny day and while I don't love how I look in them (I have a round face that these aren't super flattering for), the overall design is still cute for many people and they are actually very comfortable to wear. I often struggle to find some that don't squeeze and cause pain above my ears - I barely noticed these. The polarized dark lenses work very well to block the sun and protect the eyes. They are lightweight. I believe they came with a soft fabric/velvet carrying case, but I've honestly misplaced that, however it's a nice touch for people that will use and keep up with it. Read more
