I have been wanting a large roto-molded cooler for ages, for long road trips and camping excursions. But I was having a hard time justifying the investment of some other brands, getting less space and just buying a "brand". What sold me on this was the Made in the USA, something you don't find with other competitors, along with the warranty. I wanted a larger size, tan one with great drainage and locking capabilities. It's got all of that. I will say it's not a true "matte tan" like I expected it to be; it's speckled. Not a huge problem for me but just an fyi. Love this cooler! American made cooler that will stand the test of time. I absolutely love my bison cooler. I’d buy it over again if I had to. If you go to their website they talk about how proud they are that they source and build all their coolers in the United States and I just think that’s so cool. Solid product, very well made. You start inspecting Bison products on arrival and they just have the look and feel of supreme quality. You don't feel like you've been cheated out of your money for an expensive cooler just to fit in with the crowd. The product is smooth and free of defects, certainly solid construction and craftsmanship. I'll always support the American worker before I will foreigners. Bison products will keep them around for a long time for what the consumer gets, just don't even falter in quality to cuts edges and make more money. I took this on a trip from Raleigh to Austin and back in the trunk of my car with 15 pounds of ice and a 12 pack of beer bottles. When I got back 8 days later I still had some of the original ice but of course no beer. It is very sturdy and didn’t tip over despite being in the trunk of a six speed challenger. Very cool looking and nice latches make up for the bigger footprint, which is worth it. Read more

It is a bit bigger than I thought it would be but that's ok it fits perfect when i lay down the back passenger side seat in my jeep grand cherokee then it slides perfectly in the notch created using the seat belt for some extra attachment. The latch I like because I don't have to stretch it and pull hard or push down if other material or luggage is up next to it, I only need to lift up the catch after tugging it down slightly, a good solid latch. I could have really done without the ruler on the top, perhaps you did that for fishing. I am a fisherman but no, a ruler embossed in the material is a no no, I will probably sand it off and put some stickers there. The cooler although expensive is going to work great I am quite certain. It is super super hot in Arizona throughout many seasons including winter and I want to keep things iced down for as long as possible for road trips. One of the main reasons I bought your cooler is because you have a clean out tap for the water that is created. That is huge and a good design, imagine not having one, I cannot. Wanted a cooler that would sit snuggly in the front or back of my collapsible wagon (Mac XL Wagon). This cooler is the PERFECT size without sacrificing on insulation! The best part is I only had to add ice maybe once during a weekend long trip and maybe twice on a week long trip. Positives: * Flipping latches for easy open and close * Molded handles * Perfect Size * Drain plug (the yeti roadie does not have a drain plug!) * Center grooves for an optional divider * Works as an extra seat in a pinch VERY sturdy! Negatives: * Not sold on these rope handles yet ... but I'm going to give them a season before I make up my mind. * The granite or grey color does not look the same color in person as in product pictures. I received my new 25Qt cooler a couple of weeks ago and I love the size of it. We have the 75 Qt one they make as well and we love them compared to the yeti coolers. The hinges on the bison coolers in our opinion are a lot heavier duty than other coolers. We have used it several times already on our ATV trips and it is perfect. If you are on the fence about ordering one don't be and just order it, you will not be disappointed. We are thinking of also ordering the 175 Quart soon. Read more
