I was a little skeptical about whether I really needed the genuine Bissell brush roll, but I’m glad I went with it. Installation was quick and easy—just popped out the old one and clicked this in place. My machine instantly started cleaning better, especially on pet hair and everyday dust. Pros: Fits perfectly—no hassle with installation. Makes the vacuum/mop work like brand new. Bristles do a great job of picking up dirt, hair, and even small debris. Easy to clean after use—just rinse and let it dry. Genuine Bissell part, so no worries about compatibility. Cons: Needs replacing every few months if you clean a lot (especially with pets). A little pricey for a brush roll, but worth it for the performance boost. Overall, if your Bissell isn’t cleaning like it used to, this replacement is a must. The Bissell brushes are superior in quality and durability to the no-name brands, but they seem to hold in too much of the soapy water. Many times while vacuuming the brush leaves a trail of suds on the floor requiring an additional swipe or two over the path. Read more

These totally work with the bissell mop/vac and are a much more affordable option. They clean just the same and fit perfectly well. Read more

Pet hair does not become wrapped around this roller. Great to be able to use a mop vac that doesn’t become bogged down with pet hair. Read more
