Works great out of the box and even has some honeydew pre-installed. Works best for starting new saves but you can copy over data from a og memory card in the ps2 browser. If you run into briblens finding the saves just make sure you are consistent with what card and channel you're on. I can confirm it also works as a ps1 memory card on the ps2. Read more

The card works it does its job, it was a little bit of a pain to get it working at first but it does come with the latest software so you don’t have to download much to update anything. I HIGHLY recommend getting a bigger sd micro card for it since you will only be able to put 2-3 games on it and HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting another regular memory card because this card will not work in slot 1 for me atleast (it will show everything but will not boot up any backups) some games will not be able to save on the memory card slot 2 and or compatible with this, so just be aware but overall it’s a decent card, just needs some tweaking and time for the software to get better but that’s not on the cards fault, the actual function works great Read more

honestly this thing gets 5 stars simply for the ability to pop a huge SD card into it and load games directly from the memory card slot. I have a slim PS2 which obviously can't have a hard drive, and loading from the USB 1.1 ports is a pain in the butt, so the ability to load directly from the card itself is a lifesaver. of course, figuring out how to do all this stuff is kind of a pain in the butt, but that's not BITFUNx's fault — it's not the primary function of this thing, just a secondary bonus. it's very good at its primary purpose as well, it's very nice to be able to load up a different memory card for each game, and it (usually) does so automatically based on the game's ID number, which is extremely convenient. but the ability to load games from the PS2 memory port (and have it STILL function as a memory card) is just wildly cool. most of the credit goes to the SD2PSX team, who designed the thing, but the BITFUNX version is really well made and I can't imagine there's much better versions of the same out there. I just got this today but some things I want to note. To read the SD card on your computer you NEED an as card reader. This will not read the SD card from the usbc port. The USBC port is only for updating the firmware of the card. Pretty simple to load PS2 games onto it. I put a 256gb sd card in and loaded 160GB of ps2 games and it’s working great so far.
