Modern farmhouse fixture
I would have given 5 stars, but the past two fixtures I’ve bought have had some minor imperfections. The fixture I mounted had some scratches on the metal and the last one had a few scratches on the glass. I decided to keep the fixture and deal with the imperfections. The fixture itself is very slick and modern looking and does well with the modern farmhouse look I’m going for. I could have returned the units, but didn’t want to go through the hassle. Contemporary light fixture, good quality parts
Light looks great in entryway! The glass is smooth and the base plate fits well. Needed to buy LED Edison bulbs just for this fixture, would have been nice if they were included. But then again, this allowed me to customize the lighting by getting brighter 3000k bulbs. It was just a little difficult to put together: The cap to the bottom of the screw mount wouldn't fit until I tightened the nut with a wrench... Carefully! As not to scratch or crack the glass. Don't lose the small clear plastic ring like I almost did, which is supposed to help prevent you from damaging the glass when tightening the nut. Read more
