Absolutely love these lighters, it's such a quality-made product that you can keep for collection or give as a great gift. The gold and black look amazing, and it's just a beauty of a lighter. It has a great weight to it, where it's not too much and just enough to feel the quality of the craftsmanship. I was super excited upon opening my package. Housing looked in great condition and came in a plastic wrap. Although the function of it was not impressive. 1 our of maybe 7 strikes of the flint would result in a spark. A $5 Bic lighter sparks every time. I could do a big writeup on this but for me, the fact it is made in China and stamped and sold as made in France is a hard thing to overlook. The website for this company uses stock photos of people under meet or team and they go out of their way to depict that these are not made in China though it comes in a bag that clearly says made in China. So why am I giving it 3 stars instead of zero? Well it should get zero stars for purposely misleading people. The thing is, this IS a good lighter. If it was stamped made in China I would give it 5 stars. Is it worth the price they are asking? This is not a cheap liquor store lighter. This really has the look, feel and function of a high end lighter. I use a Zippo, smoke a tobacco pipe and have a lighter in my hand all day. I have been using this one for about a month off and on and it has worked flawlessly. It needs to be filled and adjusted out of the box as is the case with any lighter like this. This lighter is probably twice the weight of a Zippo, makes a clear "ping" sound when opening and lights on the first strike every time. If you are looking for a lighter that is made in France, this is not. If you are looking for a well made, higher end lighter for yourself or as a gift, this actually is a very nice well made lighter with every attention to detail you would expect on an expensive lighter.
