We bought a large metal chicken coop/play yard for our hens. I'm so glad I found these by reading reviews from people who used these metal ties and tool to attach the hardware cloth. Best Freakin tool! Reason for 4 stars is a lack of instructions. I got it figured out though. The ties go on easy and the silver handle is a cutting tool which I didn’t know. Read more

The old zip ties were made out of plastic & eventually, after a year started breaking. These metal zip ties are amazing! They are just as easy to install & the tool that came with them allowed you to tighten them and cut off the extra. This was perfect for attaching a tarp to a cyclone fence. Read more

They seem somewhat solid but they do not tighten as tight as plastic zip ties. I assumed the tool would allow you to pull them really tight, but the ties themselves have wiggle room after tightening. So the tool pulls the tail through but it’s allowed to slide back out slightly before the lock engages. Ended up cutting off the metal ties and putting plastic ones back on since they could actually tighten and hold Read more
