It is recommended to hand wash but I thrown everything in the washing machine. It is also recommended to line dry. These pants are comfortable and fit my 5'2" body well. They are a little bit long but not enough I have to hem them. There is a 7 inch slit on the bottom outer side of the pants which gives them an elegant flow. The two side pockets are nice and deep. Swing and a miss. I hate the feel of the fabric and the cut is so odd. If I wear them high, as you're supposed to, they're up my ass and not in a cute way. If I wear them low, the crotch bulges out.
