This is a beautiful black metallic pendant that has a black metallic shade and an E26 light socket. As with all electrical installations, you should locate them in your home. The circuit panel, circuit breaker box, and the breaker that controls the particular standard US junction box; turn the power off to it. After you’ve done that, you should take an electrical testing device or meter and test the voltage in each and every one of the wires that are in the junction box. Next, for the installation process, take the wire coming from the pendant light and locate the installation plate. The install plate has two wings coming out away from the junction box because they are screwed into the canopy with two screws. In the junction box, you should have a white black and green wire makes certain that the insulation is removed from the last half inch of the wires and then connect them with the black white and grounding wire from this fixture Make it from mechanical connection and then secure the connection with a wire locknut by placing it on top of the connection you’ve made and twisting at clockwise makes certain none of the wires are loose to fall out if they do start over. Next, use the two machine screws supplied to connect the installation plate to the junction box. Make sure you push all the wires into the junction box next, take the canopy, and use the two exterior screws to screw into the wings coming from the install plate. If you wish to adjust the height of the pendant light, this is the time to do so using the adjustment screw at the bottom of the canopy. Next the canopy is hanging unscrew from the canopy, the shade support plastic place the large black shade under the canopy cover and E 26 light socket and screw the plastic back onto the E 26 exterior next install the purchased E 26 lightbulb they do not specify the wattage of lightbulb, but I would say you could probably get away with 100 W lightbulb with complete safety based on the design of this product Hundred watts of LED power would be a very bright light. After this, turn the power back on. By the way, if this junction box is not on a switched circuit, you should have one installed to turn it on and off, as it has no remote control. This will be a beautiful pendant light for a kitchen, dining room, or any room that needs a little extra light. This light can supply a great deal of light with its E26 lightbulb. Read more

We got this to hang above our dining table. We like this look. I got a diffuser, which was a bit of a pain to install, but it works well now and is a great light for us. The price is good, it was easy to install as ceiling light fixtures go, it can take bright bulbs and with the diffuser there's no dazzle. It would be a big imrpovement to offer a diffuser as an optional extra for a few dollars more, so I've docked half a star for that. I docked 1.5 stars because there were minor scratches on the metal shade when it arrived. Poor quality control. Read more

I'm not as impressed with this as I hoped I might be, but it worked out well in the end. It wasn't correctly packaged (someone didn't put the pieces into the foam correctly) so the lamp canopy and the lamp scratched each other in transit. It was subtle, (see my pics) but I knew it eventually it would oxidize, (white powder) so I repaired the paint before hanging it. Also, it seemed a little thinner and lighter than other powder coated aluminum lights I've got from Amazon. I ended up weighting it with a large washer and that solved the problem . The texture, and the quality of the coating that comes on the lamp is a nice, matte black. Additionally, I hadn't looked closely enough at the photo to realize that the inside of the shade is also black. It looked gold in the picture, which was my bad. I ended up taping it off and spraying the inside reflective gold/bronze before we hung it, above a sometimes Poker table in a pole barn shop up in the mountains. (I wish I'd taken pics with my own phone) We had to replace the cord to make it way longer as this one tapped out at 47 inches, so measure your space well. Mine needed cord so long that no lamp anywhere would have come with sufficient length, so I don't fault this light for that. It was easy to modify, easy to install, and the rustic style looks perfect there. When outfitted with an oversized, dimmable, Vintage Edison style LED Spiral Filament Bulb /Globe Light with Amber Glass (from Amazon) it looks fabulous. It can be hung low to the table because of the bulb, and the shape of the shade, which also casts a defined puddle of light when hung like that. We paired it with an Alexa compatible switch that allows for dimming and it rocks. I'm very happy with it, despite it shortcomings in packaging and weight. We paired it with a set of 10 Inch Farmhouse Rustic Outdoor Gooseneck Barn Light Fixtures, also from Amazon, that we installed on the walls inside, and the space really looks great. Read more

This is a round dome light, in silver. Its 11.8" round, industrial-style pendant light, It has an an adjustable length of 47 Inches LED Compatible E26 Base. The silver finish has been brushed slight so it is not shiny. nice side, so it is easily a stand alone light for any location where you can hang a drop down light. Hardwire.
