These are great! The fit is perfect, as it's nice and stretchy. Fairly cheap compared to other marino wool versions. I LOVE the purple color. What's great is that it keeps you warm even as you breathe through the material. Many similar balaclavas have gotten wet and frozen in the cold. This one allows air to escape without fogging up your goggles, and remains warm even when a little moisture does build up. This is definitely warm and fits well under a helmet. It’s comfortable and soft. Doesn’t fog. Up my googles. Good quality. I wish they had a better way to prevent or disburse moisture around the mouth. On extremely cold days (-20 - 0) the outside would freeze up and then free onto my face on the way down. It would thaw on the lift back up but definitely not pleasant. I carry a backup of another brand half the cost and I swapped it out. For $45 I was hoping it would work well in all conditions but the moisture buildup around nose and mouth makes for a cold wet day without a backup. Read more
