These shorts were the best thing to happen to me at 7 months pregnant. I am not a little lady and I like baggier clothes for sure but when I'm pregnant, I notice I lose weight a lot. I normally am a 3x/4x or 20-22 in bottoms to give myself extra room (sensory thing) but maternity pants I am a 1xl-2xl so I got these and they're perfect. I get hot easily so that fact these are shorts and not pants was already a win, theyre not Bermuda shorts either which is a double win because apparently pregnant woman can only wear Bermuda shorts according to the clothing industry so if you come across these shorts, BUY THEM. Even if you're a bigger girl and you're hesitant or skeptical they'll fit, get them cause they have soooo much room. I love the side panels vs a full belly panel. These shorts are also super soft and buttery to move in. Back to length, they are not too long that it feels like I'm a safari tourist, they are just short enough that they are current in style/trendy but still long enough that my thighs have a good shot of not chaffing while I wear them. I also was thinking that even though I'm already 7 months pregnant and would technically only wear maternity clothes for 2 more months as an actual pregnant person, these would actually work perfect for postpartum as well or just in general as someone who likes roomier pants. I give birth right before peak summer months so I am actually excited to have these to wear during recovery and during that time while my body is fluctuating and getting back to normal so I really feel this is such a great investment regardless of where you are at in your pregnancy or postpartum journey or even just comfort wise. The shorts also came with a button extension if needed but I don't think I'll need it at all considering how much room is in these pants so I took mine off and will just be putting it in my purse for safe keeping in case my belly blows up at the end randomly. The price is outstanding for how inclusive and cute these shorts are and the quality seems very great and soft. The color options were a bonus as well considering not many cute maternity shorts are available typically so I'd argue to grab a few different colors especially if you want backups for if you sneeze and pee or get baby spit up on you. These shorts are nice and stretchy but still stay in place well. They are comfortable and still fit well as the pregnancy progresses. The are lightweight and cool. These Blencot maternity shorts are pretty cute. They look nicer than about 90% of the other maternity jeans/jean shorts ive gotten so that’s a plus. The material is strong but also stretchy which is definitely a must. The rise of the shorts is just a bit awkward but someone else may prefer this rise i just don’t know that it’s as flattering on me as some other rises of jeans. They will look perfect with a shirt that covers the top portion as I just think the waistband going around a huge bump is awkward lol. They’re great quality though and I’m pretty happy with my order! These maternity denim shorts are really comfortable and easy to wear. Oh wow these maternity shorts are amazing! I love the black wash and the frayed, raw hem. I am so grateful for a pair of maternity shorts that are actually trendy while also providing ultimate comfort. The main front button comes with an elastic extension which is amazing because I get massive when pregnant. The pockets are in the front rather than the sides which I prefer. It just looks better. The price is great. The adjustable waist and length are perfect. For reference, I am 5'6 130 lbs (not pregnant). I get HUGE when pregnant and all belly. The size small fit great! These are the cutest stretchy waist shorts. I'm not pregant but have a belly and got them for comfort. They have a freyed hem which makes them trendy and current. The fit is very accurate and due to the stretchy waist, I sized down 1 and they fit perfectly. They are super comfortable and made well. I’m not quite as pleased with these BLENCOT maternity denim shorts as I hoped. I got them for my daughter who is expecting. She is 5’7” and pre-pregnancy she wore between a size 16 and 18. I got them for my XXL based on the size chart. However, even though these are clearly marketed as maternity shorts they don’t seem to be cut with much extra room. Other maternity clothing we’ve bought allows you to buy your normal size, or maybe one size up, and is cut larger especially around the belly. Honestly, these didn’t come close to fitting her. They were way too small even with the elastic part at the sides. She also prefers waistbands where the entire front is the elasticized cotton so she doesn’t have a snap and zipper digging into her belly. The lack of that makes them much more uncomfortable even if they did fit otherwise. She is only just under five months along, and these don’t come close to fitting. Even in the hips area they are simply too narrow. If you buy them, definitely go up a few sizes. Sadly, I can’t recommend. Read more
