Excellent blender container - aside the fact the top leaks if left unattended/no way on top Awesome little unit. Works 100% perfect to make quick morning fruit smoothies, as well as margaritas at night. It's amazing how well it works (paired with a Connoisseur 825) compared to traditional blenders! Easy to clean, easy to use, and the perfect single sized type cup. I may even consider a larger one in the future) The only downfall, and this is even being used in a way where it's not even near the top - the lid leaks. There's no way around it other than keeping your own hand ontop of it the entire time it's working. I've seen other reviews adding weights to it and all that jazz, which is fine, but the entire point of me buying the name brand is to not worry about this issue. Lid is on tight, seals are clean, the whole nine, still leaks. I know, the world is not perfect, but when you're buying a 100 dollar tool you expect it to work - It would be like buying a snap on ratchet and somehow accepting that it skips teeth out of the box. I love this little jar. It is as easy to clean as the big jar and works perfectly. I can blend a larger quantity in my regular jar and use this one for smaller tasks. It is really great to be able to do both quickly. I wore my first Blendtec regular size jar out from so much use. This takes some of the pressure off my regular jar that gets used at least once a day as it is. The little one is really my favorite when I am making a sauce to go with whatever I am cooking at the moment. I am very glad I splurged and got it. Read more

Wish I bought this a long time ago. Same quality as the standard size but shrunk down; ideal for dips, pesto, and single-serving beverages. If you're considering a second jar and wondering why one would buy this at only a modest discount from a full-size, the smaller cross-section really improves blending capabilities of small volumes. I end up using it more than the full-size, and it takes up less storage space—looks a little weird on the blender base but the two fit in my cabinet when stacked. Read more

I bought a Blendtec to make smoothies. I was so impressed that I bought my son-in-law one, too. I compared Blendtec and Vitamix before buying. I found both are very good, but I bought the Blendtec, because Planet Smoothie uses them. It came with a jar big enough to make 4-5 smoothies, so I was always making about 1/3 jar. Then I heard about the Wildside smaller jar. I ordered two so my son-in-law and I could rate them. Turns out it's the perfect jar to make 1-2 smoothies, so we're both very happy. We've never had any problems with our blenders and jars. Read more
