i see results in the FIRST USE! i used the highest level immediately and it BARELY hurt! its super quick to use and has lasting results, so its effective. its also easy to handle as its not super chunky and a good size. it is a bit hard to see through the glasses as it tints everything a dark green color, but thats to be expected since it blocks out light to protect your eyes! overall very lightweight and my BEST investment, DO NOT skimp out on an IPL! in the past i bought a $60 one and it was 10x as painful and burned my skin! i can tell that this IPL ONLY zaps the hair, and that contributes to how painless it is! the closer the shave, the less it will hurt! it also depends on where you're zapping, but overall its one of the most effective and BEST methods for the pain level. I have been following the directions and have been using this for about 2 weeks. First, it is a nice size and not too big to hold. It didn’t have the 999999 flashes as it was supposed to have. It had 999916 when I first plugged it in. Not sure if they test them and that why it’s not all the way up. I don’t have any pain when using so that’s nice. I basically purchased this because I have a handful of hairs on my chin that I get that I originally plucked. They would grow in and get ingrown which leaves marks on my chin. Scarring. It looks like acne scars and I don’t want that so I bought this. After 2 weeks, I don’t see any change. I will give it a bit more time so I can see if it works. If not, I will be returning. The videos online help more than the paper instructions about turning it on and using it. The printed instructions are in small type and are difficult to read if you do not have 20/20 vision. The diagrams do not show enough information about the actual use of the product on the skin. If you have used similar devices, it is probably easier. I did appreciate the instructions about cleaning the device. Here is one instruction for a beginner. Hold the side button down until it turns on. It might take longer than you think. The top button is the flash button, not the on button. I cannot comment on the effectiveness of the product. Read more
