Blondo Womens Alida Waterproof Ankle Bootie

I had THE HARDEST time finding a decent black bootie after my old ones started falling apart. They were either a super pointy toe that was ugly, a thin heel, too tall of a shaft, or a weird angled block heel. I FINALLY found these and I love them! They’re an extra dark shade of black which is nice. I usually wear a size 5 but they don’t make it - I got the 5.5 and they’re a tiny bit big, but thick socks make them fit well. Beautiful boots but they run narrow. The size was right so the length was fine but they are narrow. I’m keeping them because I’m hoping they’ll stretch a bit and I won’t use them when I’m going to be doing a lot of walking. Read more

At first, these shoes were perfect. They were everything I wanted - sleek, black, waterproof booties with a small heel. They looked great with everything, from jeans to professional work pants to dresses. When I first got them, I wore them for 3 days straight. (The first day I was on my feet for 14 hours, plus a short airplane ride. And basically comfortable the whole time!) I have to wear insoles, and they fit perfectly inside. (Slightly tight at first, but the shoes easily stretched out to accommodate.) However, after only 3 days of wear, the seams at the back of one of the shoes split and the suede on the inside of the heel started to come off. But no worries - customer service was there to help and immediately sent a replacement. The next pair lasted a little longer. It's been a few weeks of wear, but, once again, the seams on these shoes are splitting. AND, I've had instances where my feet have gotten wet, despite the claim that they're waterproof! I still love Blondo shoes (I have another style that are still going strong!) but I just think that this style is not meant to be. Do not suggest; try another pair of Blondos! Read more

I first purchased this boot five years ago when I was going on a trip and wanted something cute that could handle that elements. They are cute and comfy and you cannot even tell when they get wet. Your feet stay dry, and the suede does not get blemished. I wear them with anything from jeans to dresses. I love them so much that I bought a new pair. Read more

Boots run large. I usually wear a 9 in all shoes and this were huge. Very disappointing. Also I don’t know if these are real Blondo the brand on the sole didn’t have the red mark. Black ones don’t look like the picture on add the sole is thin. Obviously returning and not reordering. Read more

I was reluctant about getting these booties because of the mixed reviews but I’m glad I did. They are very comfortable out of the box, I wore them the whole day to work be my feel didn’t hurt. They’re a bit narrow, but that doesn’t make them uncomfortable at all. My feet are not thin and I don’t like to wear narrow shoes and these shoes didn’t hurt me at all. I’m 6.5 and sometimes size up if the shoes are narrow or if I’m planning to wear them with thick socks, but I went with my usual 6.5 and was perfectly fine. They fit right.
