These boots have become my go to for fall and winter. They’re comfy, no fuss, easy to slip on and off (important in some cultures), perfect in the rain (I believe they are truly waterproof as written on the soles), AND with the right socks (thick wool) they have also kept my feet dry and warm in snowy weather. The upper sock part is obviously not waterproof, but it does wick away minor moisture. With that said, my feet have remained dry in all of these conditions. I’ve had these for about 2.5 months and have walked all over Istanbul, Boston, and NYC in various levels of rain including some major DOWNPOURS and even through 6” or less of snow on Mount Washington in New Hampshire (obviously hiking in these is not advised). They are durable and have held up through it all. They do occasionally get dirty with salt and urban grime, but they’re easy to clean with a quick swipe of a wet cloth or paper towel. I wear and love Blondo Valli ankle boots in 8.5M, but I ordered size 9 for these. Unfortunately, they’re so stiff and tight, even a half size up, that it would be torturous to try to break them in. Breaks my heart a little because they’re so cute. Read more

I have problem feet—plantar fasciitis and don’t like my toes squished. I usually wear fairly unattractive but supportive, comfortable shoes because that’s all I can find that I can wear without pain. I tried the Hallie in black and was amazed that I could wear this beautiful, fashionable, high quality boot comfortably straight out of the box. I wore the sole practically off the shoe and then bought two more pair in black (gotta have a backup for my backup!). I now own a pair in each color and they’re my go to for stylish comfort. I think the thick somewhat squishy sole also acts a shock absorption. My only pet peeve: sizing can vary from color to color. I usually get a 9.5 in boots and the black fits well in that size. In the lighter colors, the 9.5 seems larger and a bit wider, still wearable but not as good a fit. You may have to try a couple of sizes to hit your sweet spot. The boots also wear well over time. I frequently get compliments on them. Again, I love these boots! For extended walking, I’d recommend a supportive insole if you need extra arch support. Read more

I needed to update my winter boots and decided on these. We are being walloped with rain so I wore them the full day today — indoors, outside in the elements, walking, standing, driving. I‘m already in love with these. The waterproofing is real! They are comfortable from top to toe too. The elastic has some give but it doesn’t dig or lose shape, even when the top gets wet. The advice to size up a half is correct. I have narrow feet but I could see how my normal size would be tight. I was nervous given the price but this is a nice good boot. Read more

I really wanted to love these - they’re cute and so versatile. I live in NYC and walk everywhere. They got a scuff on them that turned into what looks like a mud stain and I’ve worn them for less than a week and it’s super noticeable and won’t come out. Very strange for waterproof shoes. They also arrived with discoloration on the toe before I wore them - which, I was going to overlook until the stain happened. Between the 2 discolorations, I don't think these are worth the money. LOVE these! Ran true to size for me . I am normally 6.5. The 7's fit ok but the 6.5's are spot on. Love how the dole has a bit of height but not too much to look too military . Will be cute w leggings, jeans, skirts, even dresses. Very comfy and for me east to put on. I love the soft seater like ribbed detail.,looks high end , a bit like a sock, most of all is comfortable against the front of my shin (not all ankle boots are in that spot unless a sock can go above boot edge level). The look and feel amazing. And... are waterproof (!). Totally stylish and useful. Highly recommend (I almost got All Saints boots . Glad I didn't, these work perfectly.
