So, some thoughts, starting off with the good. I love the high-waisted look, the pleating, and how "in" it is right now. It's very classic. I'm 5'4 with a longer torso and shorter legs, 110lbs for fit reference and the length is a bit long for my legs. I'll need to wear boots with a heel, heels, or get it tailored a smidge for length. It's not super see-through but it is a smidge see-through and I'd wear neutral undergarments with it. My biggest note is that, because I'm more of an x-small than true small, is that I'm not very bottom heavy and due to that there is a weird bunching of material in the butt where I could only wear these with a jacket long enough to cover the butt OR if I got it tailored and brought in a bit. I've included photos for reference, you might have more luck if you're more bottom heavy than I am. Also, it does not have pockets - with this look I expected pockets, so that was a bit disappointing. Based on other reviews, I ordered one size up and I'm glad I did. My regular size would have been too small. One size up fits perfectly. These pants are great to wear to the office. These are trendy pants but the quality of the zipper is terrible. It's very small and doesn't have a clasp at the top of the pants. After struggling to get it closed it just stops at the top. I tried bending over and squatting down and could feel tension on the zipper and when I stood back up they had unzipped themselves partially so I don't expect to be able to wear these outside of the house. They are also very long. Other than the zipper, the pants are cute and I love the seam on the pant legs. The material of the pants appears average quality. These do not wrinkle easily. There is no stretch to the top of these pants. Overall they appear fashionable but due to the zipper and them running too long, I will not be able to wear them. Read more
The media could not be loaded. The measurements are waaay off. I couldn’t zip the pants at all. The fabric is extremely stiff like 70’s polyester suit vibe. I’m 5’8 and these were on my ankle. They would be too short for anyone above 5’8” (unless you like high waters) The sad thing is that even if this fit it would be uncomfortable to wear for more than an hour or two. This review is for Blooming Jelly Womens Dress Pants High Wasited Wide Leg Business Casual Work Pants Khaki Trendy Trousers (Small, Black) I'll start off with the bad since this is a need-to-know for this item. These pants zip from the very back with one of those super thin tiny zippers, and it is IMPOSSIBLE to zip up easily on my own. Ok, onto the rest of the review. I am 125 pounds and 4'11". I ordered a small, and they fit but just barely. These have no stretch whatsoever, so if they don't fit like a glove, they won't fit at all. Now, once they are on, they are STUNNING. Really beautiful thick material. The cut is so very sexy and hugs all the right places. However, I'm so disappointed that I won't get to wear these out because the zipper is so awful. The worst placement and design of a zipper I've ever seen. It's in the very back and gets stuck so badly. I was only able to zip it halfway since they are so high-waisted, and I couldn't contort my arms enough to apply the tension it takes to zip these up behind my back. It might have been better if the zipper was on the side. I might get to wear these for a photoshoot or something, but I hate that I can't wear them for any length of time that would require a bathroom break. Read more
