Love these training treats, human and dog approved. We've tried many kinds but these have stood out repeatedly as the best, no matter which flavor you buy [chicken, beef, salmon], so they've become our favorite. The best value is buying the 19 ounce bag. These are the perfect size for small, medium, or large dogs. For example, we've used them for all ages --puppies /adults/ seniors -- and in a range of sizes, from all puppy sizes to a 5lb adult dog, 10-15lb adult dogs, 30-50lb adult dogs, and up to 80lb adult dogs. They all work great and dogs LOVE them. You can even easily break these little hearts in half and it still registers as a BIG YES for the dog's reward. My dog loves these and they are perfect for him. I guess I’ve been using BLUE Bits for training for over a year now and they’ve worked out really well. My dog is pretty picky, but these actually get his attention, which is kind of the whole point of a training treat. They’re soft and small, so I don’t have to break them up, and he can eat them quickly without stopping the flow of training. I like that they’re made with real beef as the first ingredient. I’m not expecting miracles from a treat, but it’s nice knowing it’s not just a bunch of fillers. I also appreciate that they don’t have chicken by-products, corn, wheat, or soy, since my dog has a sensitive stomach and those can sometimes cause issues. They also seem easy on his digestion which is great and I haven’t noticed any weird reactions or upset stomachs. Plus, the bag lasts a decent amount of time since the pieces are small.
