| directions | 1. Measure the desired amount of Blue Lake & Pond Dye based on the size of your pond. For a surface area of 1 acre with an average depth of 4 to 6 feet and no base color, use two gallons. If a base color is present, one gallon should be sufficient. 2. Slowly pour the dye into your pond, dispersing it evenly. 3. If necessary, stir the water gently to ensure the dye mixes well and spreads throughout the pond. |

The media could not be loaded. Been using this for over a year now. I reapplied in September and my pond is still holding the colour. It turned my brown pond into a beautiful blue backdrop. Read more

UPDATE: after posting the below review customer service reached out and offered to send me another thing of dye to try. It took more than anticipated, but it did get my pond to a very pretty color. I appreciate this company standing behind their product and helping me to troubleshoot. I’ll purchase again and just know that I need to dose heavy the very first time (but use less to maintain the color) We have previously used the AirMax dye, but wanted to try something else. This was not nearly as good. It took a lot to get a similar color and the color only lasted a short while even in cooler temps. Would not repurchase. Read more

We've been using this in our ornamental pond/waterfall for a very long time now. I believe that the first gallon lasted over a years' time. It is very concentrated. And I do believe that it helps with reducing algae growth. Although it doesn't stop it. But with all of the bird poop that is washed into our pond every year, to feed the algae, I don't think there is anything that will completely stop it accept for chlorinating. Read more
Tried this brand of blue dye for my pond compared to a previous brand. The cost of this product was around $30 US dollars vs over $50 of previous both 1 gallon each. For the $ I see the results about the same for less $. Therefore I can highly recommend this brand. Read more
