The problem with this product was more with the execution. I like the idea, but the installation brought it way down for me. First, I'm not sure they could have printed the instructions any smaller. It took two adults and a teenager to decipher them, and they were very unclear. They were incredibly basic..to a fault. Literally, hang the mounting plate. hang the unit, set the clock, use the product. That's it. That would be fine if that was all there was but it was terribly inadequate. There was another piece that wasn't mentioned anywhere in the instructions or product diagram that we could find. Drove me crazy! we finally figured out that it was an additional toothbrush insert if you need extra slots for more toothbrushes. Second, the settings are very unclear. I wish that it recognizes when a toothbrush is removed and than runs through a cycle, but it seems that it doesn't work that way. It runs through its setting twice a day automatically, or you push the clock button and it turns on the light cycle. We haven't figured out how to turn on the ring cycle, but here's my question...If I brush my teeth at 6AM (for instance, my husband is military so it's even earlier), who cares if the toothbrush gets dried at 8AM? It will have been drying 2 hours? I've got to be missing something. If I could figure out how to manually start a cycle, that would fix my issues but the instructions are terribly inadequate. Finally, the box comes with a USB cable. Again, the instructions don't tell you whether it has to be plugged in all the time or if there are batteries, but is doesn't come with a cube and the cable uses the big USB port that most devises have quite using so it was very hard to find a cube for it. I also had to steal a USB port from somewhere else in the house for the bathroom. I hope these are just oversights on my part but again, the instructions are very unclear. In my opinion, the execution absolutely could be better. Read more
