Almost There, But Not Quite

The concept behind these glasses is fantastic. The idea of combining UV-filtering sunglasses with open-ear headphones for running and cycling is a great one, and it's what drew me to them. The UV lenses themselves seem to work just fine. However, the glasses feel and look cheap, and the overall execution leaves a lot to be desired. While the Bluetooth feature works as expected and the connection is stable, the "open-ear headphones" are a bit of a mixed bag. The sound is a little light on the bass, and it can be hard to hear your music in noisy environments. The volume is also on the low side, even when turned up to the maximum. As for the voice assistant, it's more of a hassle than a help. It frequently fails to recognize my commands, and when it does, it's often after a frustrating delay. For an outdoor activity where you're on the move, this is a serious problem. The build feels incredibly flimsy, and they don't sit securely on my face, requiring constant adjustment. For cheap these are okay, but don't expect much. Read more

Not likely to wear

I got another pair of smart glasses a while back that I really love, so when I saw this pair, I ordered it to have a backup. They arrived this morning, and as soon as I opened the package to examine them, I realized that they weren't anywhere near the quality and style of my other pair. In fact, they remind me of the free glasses the eye doctor gives after a procedure where the patient needs to keep eyes safe from sunlight. From the photos on the web page, I thought they looked like they'd be much nicer than they turned out to be. They are very lightweight and look very cheap. I don't plan to ever wear them, and I doubt any family/ friend would want them. I haven't tested the Bluetooth features because even if they worked wonderfully, I don't see anyone actually wanting to wear them. Read more
