BlueTrail National Parks Water Bottle with Stickers

This water bottle is amazing, and so are the people who own the company!!! I’ve had this bottle for almost a year now, and it’s held up very well well even though I’ve dropped it a couple of times. My stickers are still all looking great, and it keeps my ice water nice and cold throughout the day. I use this EVERY day, but I don’t wash it often. A few weeks ago, I finally got some mold growing on the silicone, and I tried cleaning it with a brush, but I had let it go for too long. I tried searching for a new lid, but I love this style a lot. I love that it has a handle so I can clip it to bags (this reduces dropping it), and I love the flip top for the straw. If I’m cooking and have my hands dirty, I can just sip though it without having to touch the bottle. When it’s closed, it’s also leak proof. Anyway, I asked a question in the question section, and the owners reached out to me and got me a new lid! I’m so grateful they take the time to read through them and actually respond! This is truly one of the best waterbottles I own. It is completely leakpropf and keeps drinks cold. I was skeptical that it would really hold up in the dishwasher but it did! The stickers and design held up flawlessly. The carrying handle is also super convienent! Read more

This is a fantastic water bottle. I have two National Park bottles, and the stickers on this one do not peel or fade. The flip up lid is extremely convenient for drinking one-handed, for example, while driving. The water stays cold all day, even when my water bottle sits in a hot car while I'm at work. The etched logos of parks inhaven visited yet also look good. The only problem with the water bottle is it's durability. I picked it up by the lid when the lid wasn't actually on, the water bottle fell to the floor of my kitchen, and it was dented. Because it's a double walled bottle, you can't push the dent out from the inside. This didn't compromise the bottle's functionality, only its aesthetics. It does suggest that the water bottle will not remain dent free if used while hiking the national parks. Read more

I do fieldwork in remote parts of Africa with temperatures over 100 F most days. I loved the look of this and other National Park Sticker bottles. Many of the others, though, have a flip-up mouthpiece that is not protected when flipped down. With those, you'd be putting your lips on a mouthpiece that has collected dust, or fallen in the sand, or otherwise gotten contaminated (there's lots of giardia and other hygienic issues in my field area). The BlueTrail bottle struck me as the best design because there is a tab that snaps down over the mouthpiece, preventing dirt and contaminants from getting on it. Also, the mouthpiece is better protected against an accidental bump that could cause the it to flip up and leak water all over my field notes. The insulation works well. My only critique reflects my own poor decisionmaking. I picked the black color version thinking that it would not show much wear. That's true, but I often must put my bottle in sun or partial shade, and the black plastic heats up like nobody's business. I am sure that must affect the insulation efficacy. If I were buying this again, I would definitely chose one of the pale shades. Read more
