they really are nice. bought as a last minute Christmas present. Son and family were driving to Cleveland (500 miles) I bought 2 one for a 2 year old the other for a 7 year old. They asked to use them in the car. These little painting books kept them quiet and busy for 45 minutes which is a big help on a long car ride. I got this for a stocking stuffer for our 2 year old son who had recently entered the world of all things Bluey, or "Be-yew" as he is able to pronounce her name lol. I honestly did not expect it to get even half the amount of use that it has. Willingly from our toddler. I mostly bought it because it was Bluey, was a great price, and was an item that we could easily pack in the diaper bag to occupy our toddler while we're out and about and he needs occupying. Our toddler plays with this item *everyday*. Multiple times a day. He will grab it and we will draw with him (we also bought the Bluey water color mat so we have extra water markers to use with him). He will also grab it and play with it by himself for long periods of time. I've even found myself using it alone lol. It's stress relieving okay?! Low maintenance and stress relieving lol.
