I usually hate buying made in China items and was skeptic but I had to because they're the ones who makes this, unless anyone else know of any other ones. It was easy to install on my marble tile shower. My shower was new and haven't been used so no soap scum but I used alcohol pads to wipe the area and waited to dry for placement. There's a clear suction cup and a clear plastic casing separated inside the metal casing you see displayed in the photo. You compress the suction cup into the wall and release all the bubbles by pushing it outwards to get a tight seal then the clear covering goes over it, screwing in the metal casing until hand tight(not overly tighten). You can tighten it to make the hook/bar go horizontal or vertical as seen in the photo, which was a nice option to have. I would say it's one of the most high quality no-name product I've used. I could get more to place on the shower glass door for hanging a towel. Tip: Make sure to test the suction cup placement by tugging on it first before assembling the casing because the metal is heavy and if it falls onto your shower floor tiles or tub, it both may be damaged, if not just your tiles/tubs. These got returned because they would not stick to the wall for longer than 2 minutes, if that. And that was just trying to install them. They certainly would not have held up with anything hanging from them. They look great and they’re great quality, but that’s also the problem with them. They’re too heavy to stick. Read more
