The LED light is actually very helpful because it lets me see the tiny peach fuzz I normally miss.The three speed options are great depending on the area of my face. I like using a lower speed around sensitive spots and a higher one for my cheeks and jawline. I've been using dermaplaning razors for a few years now, they tend to make my makeup look a bit nicer. This one is a "sonic" tool, basically it gently vibrates very fast. It's very safe to use and gentle, no nicks or anything like that. I think my favorite part is the led light on both sides of the razor. It's bright and shows hairs very well. It also comes with 10 additional blades, so you won't run out quickly. If you want to store it upright, it does need to sit in it's charging port since the bottom is angled. While it does get rid of most hairs, there have been a few that it didn't seem to want to get, that I was able to with my regular dermplaning razor. I didn't really notice a difference with using the sonic part or just using it without, but that will probably differ with everyone. Read more
