I decided to try these tissues because of the online rating . and in spite of the some customer comments about the size being smaller than other brands . As soon as I recieved the package I opened up a box and pulled out a few tissues . I did a side by side comparison with another brand that I always order from Amazon that come in a bigger box . The tissues were exactly the SAME size.. Only the size of the box is smaller ,I noticed that there was more room left over in the larger boxes , but each box of tissues actually contain 100 tissues . These also are softer and glide out of the box without tearing . And the price is great ! Read more

The tissues feel and work well. But the size of the tissues are smaller than a regular size tissue... So I don't know how much money you are saving when you look at it that way. Read more

These are what you'd expect for hotel grade tissue. Not the strongest, not the softest. These are great for everyday use, the first cleaning in the morning, or just in from cold weather. If you're ill and needing frequent use, you'll probably need something stronger and softer. Read more

UPDATE Nov2025: Still 3 stars but after using them for weeks now, I believe they're thinner & more prone to tearing than I originally thought (comparing to Dollar Tree tissues) & the smaller size of each tissue is truly quite annoying, forcing me to use more tissues to make up the difference, so, I'm even less pleased with them NOW than when I provided my original review. Biggest selling point of these is being able to fit the small boxes in small spaces. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Each box of these Boardwalk tissues is labeled "BWK 6500B" & says: "Two-ply tissues, 100/Box." Bottom of each box says, "Manufactured for Boardwalk/Essendant Co... Deerfield, IL...Made in Indonesia." I counted & measured the tissues in 1 box & compared them to tissues from my previously favorite brand, Dollar Tree's (DT) Greenbriar Int’l "Everyday" Tissues in the 175 count box & to the Aldi’s standard Willow tissues in the 160 count box. There were indeed 100 tissues in the Boardwalk box & each was 2-ply. They were 7.63” x 7.56” (I measured) (I saw a website that claimed they were 8” on one side--mine were NOT.). At 7.63” x 7.56”, these are smaller than the DT Everyday tissues (which I measured as 8.56” x 8.06”) and smaller than Aldi Willow tissues (which I measured as 8.5” x 8.13”) & smaller than most store-bought tissues. The texture & thickness is similar to DT, except the DT Everyday tissues seemed to have more smoothness when I rub my finger on them -- it is almost imperceptible, so maybe my imagination. *My order had no scent or unpleasant odor, so that was good. *The smaller size of the Boardwalk tissue sheets (not the box itself, but the sheets) is a bit annoying in real-world use. *Like the DT & Willow tissues, they tear too easily for my taste. I like strong, simple, low-dust, low-cost tissue that can hold up well to all kinds of tasks without tearing cuz I use them all over the house for lots of things, not just for sneezes. (I don’t want lotion—it smears my glasses; I don’t want “soft&fluffy”—it tears & generates dust). The small size of these 100-count boxes could be convenient for those who want them to fit into a glovebox, backpack, or small space more easily than full-size tissue boxes. Until Dollar Tree raised their tissue price to $1.50 this year, I bought their “Everyday” tissue in the 175 count boxes because it was the best price per tissue that I could find, and not hideously fluffy/linty. I’m still looking for a good substitute or maybe something better. I tried the Boardwalk tissues because, although the tissues are smaller, they are slightly less expensive per tissue than the current DT price per tissue. (As of Oct2025, the Amazon price of $21.99 per case of Boardwalk containing 30 boxes w/100 tissues per box equates to $0.00733 per tissue for Boardwalk, versus $0.00857 per tissue for DT Everyday tissues at $1.50 per box of 175). I’m not super happy with these Boardwalks cuz they tear as easily as the DT tissues and are small, so I’m still searching for “tougher” tissues, preferably in full size. I want them strong and cheap but no one seems to make them like that ANYWHERE anymore because everyone else on the planet seems to like them soft. I don't think the savings on these was worth it. The tissues are smaller than an average tissue and the boxes aren’t decorative but that’s find for my needs. My nose runs almost constantly so I used a lot of tissues. I don’t need a large tissue or the softest tissue I’m the world. These are the perfect size and quality for me and the price is low. Perfect for me. Read more
