Soft, comfortable. A bit long. I got size 32/30, and they are way longer than 30" inseam. May shorten, but the drop pockets on the sides of legs are too small to fit cell phones easily :( May return, as they're not too practical (if you cant keep a phone in the drop pocket, you need to use the cargo pockets, which are too big for phones, and have the velcro).
