Horrible instruction manual. Setup is not intuitive and the manual lacks significant information. Great touch screen and display quality, but am not able to successfully register the machine, set up user ids, or change settings due to lack of useful instructions. Read more
Don't get me wrong, this scale is very sturdy and heavy. It has rollers and that makes it very easy to move. It's sleek in design and very professional looking. It comes with an HP printer and black ink plus pre printed sheets of paper for the composition print out. It also has an internal thermal printer. The issue is the thermal printer prints but the words and number overlap onto one another making it impossible to read and it prints so light that some letters and number are completely transparent. Not a big deal if you use the external HP printer. The other thing is, when I've used composition scales it let's me put in the height like feet and inches, this scale only allows inches. So if you're 5 feet 5 inches tall you need to do a bit of math and input 65 inches. There is no way around this. I didn't like this feature but hey you may think it's fantastic! Then the biggest issue for me is usually after I weigh myself on any other composition scale I can click onto my weight and it brings up a window explaining if I am overweight etc., you can also click on BMI and Visceral fat and the same thing happens BUT on this scale these options are obsolete. Does that mean it's not a great scale? No, these are just my preferences for my clinic. But the options it does have makes it super easy and to the point. For myself, I need something that provides more details into the composition itself. Aside from that, this scale is great for heavy set people as it's very sturdy. The screen is large enough to read from and it does have a lot of other functions (none that I needed to use). I gave it 4 stars because the internal printer does not print dark enough to read and it all overlaps. Read more
