Bolon makes really great sunnies that I’ve been consistently and pleasantly surprised by. That’s probably the reason why I keep getting more pairs of them. They have some great frames that are really good quality and when combined with the excellent quality of the lenses, they suddenly don’t seem so expensive. The provide good coverage with medium-dark lens tint that I find perfect for plunging into Target as easily as I can wear them to the beach. Love them! I got these Bolon sunglasses for my daughter who suffers from migraines, sometimes instigated by bright lights and sunshine. First the aesthetics. The glasses are gorgeous, a solid, beautifully made frame. When my daughter tried them on, she said they reminded her of Audrey Hepburn. She's not wrong; the look is classy and sophisticated and, yes, perhaps a little retro. My daughter was most pleased with the quality of the lenses. With many sunglass lenses, a "rainbow" effect can be detected when worn in the right light, which can be very distracting. Not these lenses. They are without rainbow defect and quite dark for controlling the brightness of our South Texas sun. The frames are prescription quality, and if you chose, could be fitted with prescription lenses. However, my daughter wears contacts, and she's pleased with the sunglasses as is. She specifically mentioned that the Bolon sunglasses have a comfort fit that does not slip on her face. I am an avid collector of sunglasses and have curated quite a collection over the years. I have pieces that are very budget friendly and others that are, well...close to a car payment. I can be pretty fussy when it comes to my glasses though and as everyone knows- not all are created equal. A brand that is somewhat new to my collection, despite being around for some time, is Bolon- A premium lifestyle and glasses brand and one of the top eye wear brands in the world. I could not wait to get my hands on these and see what they were all about. The glasses arrived quick. A thicker than paper, but thinner than cardboard, branded box arrived a bit banged up, thanks to the Amazon packaging it shipped in. Inside of the box, a somewhat lackluster, gray case contained the wrapped glasses. Sure, the case is made from a thick, faux leather that is durable and well constructed. The case folds over and stays shut with a semi weak magnet. The case isn't terrible, but I would have expected a hard, or even more sturdy/durable case- considering the price of the glasses. None the less, it did protect the glasses well during their obviously bumpy journey here. Also included was an information card/booklet and a really nice, soft, generous sized cleaning cloth. I immediately noticed the steps that Bolon takes to ensure you have a legit pair of glasses. Connected to the arm, a small tag with a holographic logo as well as a number and a website to check the legitimacy of the specs. This is NOT the number you put into the checker (online) though, rather it's almost a back up number. The real serial number is almost invisible (SUPER tiny) and engraved into the inside of the arm. My number checked out as soon as I typed it in. I am quite impressed by the glasses. These have a unique shape that is defines by almost 3D looking lines surrounding the frames. They are a bit oversized, but not absolutely (or overly) massive. The arms are on the thicker side, and very comfortable, but again not so think that they are reminiscent of the giant arms from the early 00's. These are spot on to the listed measurements and fit well and feel amazing on. They don't slide down my nose and, dispite having a nice weight to them, they don't wear heavy on the face. They are super comfortabe and very easy to wear, even when they are on the entire day. I am known to be clumsy, and thanks to issues with my hands I tend to drop things a lot. I have dropped these more times than I can count. I have also left them on my car seat and sat on them a few times as well. Even with those unfortunate events, these still look and feel brand spankin' new. The lenses (which are easy to clean) don't have so much as a scratch and the frames are so durable and sturdy that they have impressed me again and again. Not only are these well constructed and look great, but the polarized lenses brighten up my surroundings. I always can tell a true polarized lense by looking at my phone (with the glasses on), as they will make the phone dark and a bit difficult to see- as these do. These also do an excellent job of blocking out the harmful rays- even when you are at the beach all day, with the bright sun reflecting off the water. Oh...about the beach- I really wasn't planning on wearing these to the beach while on vacation, but that's how it worked out. I was worried not just because of the salt water, but I didn't want the gold logo on the side to get...funky or warped. Luckily, neither the sun or salt damaged any part of these. Overall, I am pretty impressed by these glasses and find them to be a very worthy purchase. I feel like Bolon should upgrade their cases a bit, but other than that I have no complaints at all. Matter of fact, I purchased a second pair very soon after I got these. For a luxury brand, I would argue that these are QUITE affordable, especially considering the quality. Read more

I ordered these Oversized, Polarized, Women’s Sunglasses from the BOLON Store for myself. I actually love the way these glasses look and how well they block out light when I put them on. These glasses are made of premium acetate material which helps the frames & lenses from bending and breaking. The lenses are a pitch black, lightweight & shatterproof and the frames are dark black with a gold colored “B” emblem on each side which looks very classy & sophisticated! Another great thing about these glasses is they give you 100% UVA, UVB & UVC protection. All I can say is that these glasses have everything you could want in a pair of glasses and if anything happens, you have a 2 year warranty starting from the date of purchase!
