It's not terrible, but (for the price) neither is it good. like: - full-length piano hinge - very nicely-cut/CNC-cut foam (from a single layer, not multiple glued layers) - looks okay - screen protector nice, all things equal - comparatively lightweight dislike: - "pretend-serious"; no environmental sealing - "pretend-serious"; no pressure release (though in fairness, if the case isn't sealed, you don't need this. So it's just a silly adornment. - latches are simple snap, not compound lock - plastic is thin. Case is strong enough for casual use, wouldn't want to put any weight on it. value: This is the main issue. All sins forgiven at half this price. But very poor value at fifty bucks. in sum: Pass.
