Excellent book stand. It adjusts all over and all around. It swivels! It is sturdy and doesn't tip over. The book can lie flat, even when raised almost perpendicular to the desk. Page holder arms are long and adjustable via screws, so the abity to hold various sizes of books. It is a handsome tool for any desk and any decor. It is heavy, but that is great for holding big books and not tipping. I've used mine for a month, and am considering a second one for multiple books. I didn't know I needed this until I saw it on Amazon. It's great for books that are too heavy or bulky to hold while you read like my large Study Bible. I would usually lay it flat on my desk which requires me to hunch over it. It's perfect for cookbooks since I can glance at the recipes for the next step without stopping to go look at it with my hand full of dough- I just look up. I love that I can set it at any angle, and rotate it. You can set it at table height or elevate it. I will say that it is very stiff setting the height and angle, but it absolutely stays the way you set it. The materials are really sturdy. It has two 'arms' you can use to hold your pages open. Some feel they cannot hold a thick book open, because you cannot raise them very vertical on a very thick book. But you don't need to. You can see in one of my pictures how I just barely brought the tips up when using it with my thick study Bible and the arms hold fine. I think this is a good product and a good price. Read more

I love it. I’m very satisfied with the product. I highly recommend this product. The base is metal to which anything that is a magnet will adhere to it. I like that. Raising, lowering and manipulating, the hinges require strength. But this simply means that your book is not gonna fall. It’s not gonna tip over. It is very secure. I really love the swivel feature. It’s so very convenient to move the book around, simply by swiveling instead of having to pick up the whole thing and move it over or whatever. It swivels with great ease. I love the design of this book holder.. The arms that hold down the pages are rubber tipped. They are not going to tear your pages. They are also firmly attached. It is strongly recommended, that you must carefully lift them up to place them on the pages. They are very snug. As you can see in the picture, it accommodate a Bible very easily. I would say that the arms are designed to easily accommodate up to the width of about 1 1/2” thickness. Anything thicker than that you would need to be creative in holding your book open. Big hair clips work really great. 🙂 The design also allows you to easily move it from one place to another, with one arm by hooking your arm underneath and up over the back. It comes ready to use right out of the box. This product is very attentively packaged. This product is very securely made and strong. It’s not cheap aluminum. Do not buy this if you intend to use it with a very thick book because the page clips are not meant to extend any thicker than the shelf the book sits on. I almost ripped my pages trying to use them. Other than that it's great quality which is why I'm still giving it 4/5 stars. I really liked how solid the base is and the 360 degree rotation. It could work well for an iPad or tablet as well. Well made. It's heavy, so not tippy at all. Big enough to hold a binder while I practice, and the page holders are nice. They fold easily out of the way when I don't want them, but they're nice and sturdy to hold even a new book open. And it's fully adjustable for whatever angle you want, with no danger of tipping over even if it's a heavy book. Read more
