I mixed the Borax with sugar & water according to the recipe, I found online And within three days no more ants! Woohoo! Use 1 1/2 Tablespoon borax, 1/2 cup white sugar & 1 1/2 cup warm water. Mix well. Put just a bit in little containers where ants are and at first you will have more ants so be patient because they're all coming for it. But they take it back to nest over next 2 or 3 days and to the Queen. They will dehydrate and die. Make sure to keep in a labeled container with a cover on tight out of reach of children and pets. I just put mine in an empty mayonnaise jar. In three days I only had one or two ants left! Refreshed the solution and none coming back! So much cheaper than the packaged ant poison and borax is the number one ingredient they use anyway! No smell and if it spills just wipe it up. You can make a covered container out of those take out food clam shells that snap together and just cut a little hole out of the side for the ants to go in. I put one of those outside my front door. And of course borax is already great for a laundry booster, so it's a win win! Read more
