All-around surround *video*! This camera will catch EVERYTHING around you! I had a jacked-up 2500 4x4 try to push me off the road from the on-ramp, tailgate me by like 4 INCHES, then REAR-END me driving down the highway, THEN try to push me off the road from the left! I didn't see the need for a dash cam until that minute! The insurance blamed ME 50%! If I had THIS dash cam, the guy would have been charged with the 12+ laws he broke (besides being high!), he would have had to pay for ALL repairs, and my sanity wouldn't have been shredded! I bought a cheap dash cam immediately for each vehicle, but nothing like this 4 camera beast was yet available! I have this one in my primary car, & I'm getting one for my truck right now! I do wish that it had 4k front resolution, & at least 2k rear, but it WILL catch the act, and they'll have NO defense against the video! I have the hardwire kit, which wasn't that difficult to install - you just need 2 fuse taps, which are specific to your car. Running the wire for the rear camera is a bit of a pain trying to keep the wire from interfering with the side airbags. It's doable, though. The picture quality is quite clear, even though it doesn't have the highest specs. There are already some copycats out there with 4 channel dash cams, but don't be fooled! You need a high endurance SD card for ANY dash cam - your SanDisk Extreme won't cut it, & they won't warranty it. Read more
At first, the camera did not turn on. So I contacted the Botslab 24hr customer service through the phone App chat and they walked me through steps to try to get the camera to turn on. Those steps failed, so Botslab sent me a new camera within about one week. I installed my new camera in my car and it has been working as expected for one week now. I am pleased with the video and sound quality and how it takes continuous video from each camera, but breaks the video up into 1 minute segments, each with their own time stamp. This way I can easily find and download to my phone the segments I want, without having to download a really long video and search for the frames I need. I am also pleased with the customer service provided by Botslab and how promptly they responded. Sometimes things go wrong with any product, so to me it is really important when the manufacturer stands behind their product and makes good on their promise to the customer. Read more
Had this installed fairly easy in my truck, only complaint is how frustrating the app is. You connect to it with Bluetooth and then when you want to see live or download... you then need wi-fi. The app will kick any other apps and you lose connection to your vehicle. Read more
I have used a dashcam in my vehicles since 2018. It’s a great investment to protect (i.e. capture) the unknown. Whether it is a car accident, road rage incident, or worse…having it on video might make the difference between being found at fault or keeping you out of jail. Also, with the option to hardwire for 24/7 recording, it makes a good investment for those of us that park their vehicle in the driveway. The previous brand (Rexing) of dashcam used was only front and back cameras. This dash cam by BOTSLAB is superior. 1. The ability to connect with your smartphone actually works very well. 2. Installation was very easy, and the installation accessories made it even easier. 3. The side cameras are adjustable for either cabin surveillance (which would be good for ride sharing or other situations where you might want to have video) or they can be focused on the driver and passenger windows to capture activity happening next to the vehicle. 4. It has the option to record audio in the cabin or to disable audio recording. 5. Video quality is excellent, and extracting it to your phone is so simple and easy that there is no need to do the extraction by removing the memory card. I would highly recommend the option to hardwire for constant surveillance, but I would not recommend the BOTSLAB kit (see my other reviews for a much better option for the same price). Read more

This product is really great. I had a professional installation done for parking mode and everything works great. I also bought my own larger high endurance SD card so it could rewrite many many times. The video quality is clear I love being able to see all around the vehicle. Read more
