We've had a hard time finding well fitting brands for my 4yr old and these are def a top competitor! I ordered size 5-7 for my son who weighs 38lbs, just under 40in tall, 21in waist. He wears a sz 4-5 in boys pants. Average build, thighs on thicker side. He has a long torso/crotch area and herein lies the problem with underwear for us. We had a constant "wedgie" problem with underwear that otherwise fit. If we went up a size, they were too big in the waist. This brand fits both his waist and crotch area well. They aren't snug/fitted but they aren't baggy/loose either. Very happy with this purchase. He seems comfortable as he wasn't constantly adjusting himself walking around the fair all day when he otherwise usually would be. 😩 Also note, these soften up immensely after first wash!
