Whether I’m working on tumbling passes, handstands, or more advanced skills, the extra support around my wrists helps me feel more confident and secure. The wraps are easy to put on and adjust — the Velcro closure stays tight without digging into the skin, and they don’t loosen up during practice. The material feels durable but still comfortable; it stretches enough to move with me without feeling restrictive, yet it provides firm support where I need it most. I also appreciate that they’re lightweight and breathable. Even during longer practice sessions, my wrists don’t get overly sweaty or uncomfortable, which is a big plus for staying focused. They’ve held up well through regular use and washing, and haven’t lost their shape or elasticity. These wrist wraps are a great addition to any gymnast’s or cheerleader’s gear bag — supportive, comfortable, and built to last. Read more
I love the versatility of this BraceUP Cheer Wrist Braces – Gymnastics! Not only is it good for her knees, but I can use it as well. We keep this in the freezer, so it is easy and ready to use whenever it is needed. This wrist brace is a great solution for wrist pain relief. I would agree that this provides relief from pain and reduces inflammation and swelling. Since it is reusable, you can use it over and over. My daughter has an injury from doing volleyball and this has been very helpful in speeding her recovery. The brace itself is very soft, so it feels nice on your skin. The material does not weep or drip after coming out of the freezer as it was warming up. I would highly recommend this brace to you! You would be hard-pressed to find anything negative about this product. Buy it! I don’t believe you will be disappointed! Read more
These are good quality bracers that fit the average sized wrist quite well. They hold on with velcro and are easy to put on and take off. I find they are quite supportive and feel nice, though on occasion they do chafe the bottom of my wrist. Adjusting it a bit can help to lessen the chafing, Support is good when I use them at the gym. The nice part is that there is a supportive stay that can be easily removed for more comfort and lessens the chafing. The bracers are also washable, so I just toss them in the laundry. Read more
This wrist band is advertised for support, but I'm not sure how you would get it tight enough to support anything. There's nothing to keep it in place for tightening - it'll just spin in place. There are some plastic ribs in the band, but it doesn't do much if it's loose. The material quality is good - it's heavy-weight nylon with good Velcro. It's just that it doesn't fit well because it limply lays on one's wrist. I would look elsewhere; spending money on this is going to result in a disappointing experience. Not a good value. Read more
I bought these BraceUP cheer/gymnastics wrist braces because I was tired of turning my kid’s wrists into sticky, lint-attracting science experiments before every practice, and these are a genuine upgrade in sanity. They’re low-profile and light enough that they don’t feel like bulky pharmacy gear, but they still give that “my wrists aren’t made of spaghetti” confidence during tumbling and stunting. Also, getting two in the pack feels like the product is politely acknowledging that most humans come with two wrists. The best part is the removable plastic stay: when I want more rigid support, I leave it in, and when I want more freedom of movement, I slide it out and it becomes more of a snug compression wrap. The two-segment Velcro setup makes it easy to dial in fit and compression, and the stitching/Velcro quality feels solid instead of “this will explode in week two.” Comfort is mostly great—no direct Velcro-on-skin misery—and they’re simple to put on without a wrestling match. My complaints are small but real: there’s a tag that can get in the way unless I do a little “snip-snip” surgery, and they had a noticeable new-product smell at first (mine needed some airing out). The material may feel stiff/rough for some people and can rub when the wrist moves, and the sizing can run large enough that I could basically moonlight them as an elbow guard if I felt like starting a new trend. Net result: I’m not saying these braces turned me into a calm, organized sports parent—but they absolutely reduced the daily tape ritual from “recurring nightmare” to “mild inconvenience.” Read more

I ordered this 2-pack of wrist braces for my child to use during gymnastics practice, specifically for tumbling passes where the impact on the wrists is high. These have been a fantastic upgrade from using athletic tape every single session. The most insightful feature of these braces is the removable plastic stay. This allows for customizable support levels which is rare in youth braces. On days when my child's wrists are feeling sore and need rigid stability, we keep the plastic insert inside. On lighter training days, we can easily slide the plastic out, converting the brace into a soft, flexible compression wrap that offers support without restricting motion. The design is very low-profile and lightweight. Unlike the bulky medical braces you find at drugstores, these are thin enough to not interfere with hand placement during stunts or handsprings. They fit smaller youth wrists perfectly and the velcro allows for a very specific tightness adjustment. They are incredibly convenient compared to the waste and sticky residue of taping wrists before every practice. The fact that it comes as a pair is excellent value, allowing for support on both wrists simultaneously. Highly recommended for young athletes. Read more
