This alarm clock is exactly what I wanted. I've been using a cheaper, popular $20 one (the Jall wooden triangle one) but really didn't like that one for a few reasons. I wanted to get a few things out of my new alarm clock: 1. battery operated (getting unplugged by accident is the worst and then you have to reset things) 2. Simple (I don't want another app to download or a microphone to listen to me) 3. Nothing fancy like a light. I just wanted a basic alarm nothing else. 4. stays dark at night (no bright lighting) It was amazingly hard to find an alarm clock that doesn't involve an app, offer a digital assistant, or be anything more than a basic alarm clock. So happy I found this one! Read more

This is definitely not worth the price it was cheaply made, and the one I received did not work. A five dollar price would be more appropriate. Read more

I received this travel clock and the Braun BC05B analog dial version for review. For a travel alarm, I need simplicity when setting the alarm and finding the snooze and off switch. The BC05B delivers that. This clock does not. The screen is very dim even when the backlight is activated; don't believe the photos. Setting it with the dial is confounding. During use, the screen attracts fingerprints like moths to a light bulb. There is no snooze/off button other than trying to hit one of the extremely small on-screen targets and hope you did it correctly. Braun is also not including a manual in their products anymore to save them a few cents while inconveniencing customers. Instead, there's a general web address on a card where you need to poke around in hopes of finding it. Unacceptable. This clock is ridiculously priced at $50. So is the BC05B, for that matter, but that one is easier to use through bleary morning and late-night-tired eyes. $33 and under analog Braun clocks represent a much better deal than either of these. Meh. My rating system: 5 Stars = Knocks it out of the park. A great value! 4 Stars = Excellent product. A solid buy. 3 Stars = It provides some value, but perhaps not as advertised. 2 Stars = A little dubious, so do your research. Read the critical reviews! 1 Star = Avoid this product and look elsewhere. Read more

My husband likes to have a small alarm clock nearby by on the night stand. I selected this since it is a Braun and I knew it would be a quality piece. It’s lightweight, battery operated and has very simple functions. It’s great for travel due to its size. I did have to download the instructions to set the time and learn the functions. Once I read through the 2 page document, it was easy to do the set up and use the clock. It’s nice, functional, basic and it’s a Braun. Read more

Unable to set time or alarm. Quality feels very cheap and not usual Braun quality. Not sure what happened here. Read more
