I really like this electric razor. It’s easy to clean and comes with different attachments, which makes it very versatile. I have sensitive skin under my armpits, and it did pinch a little at first, but it wasn’t too uncomfortable. I would recommend trying it on your arm first to see how your skin reacts before using it on more sensitive areas. My skin stays hair-free for about a week after using it. It works well on dry skin and in the shower, which I appreciate. I’ve had it for about a month and a half with zero issues. The battery lasts a long time, and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase. Read more

I’ve tried several epilators over the years, and the Braun Silk-épil 7 really stands out. It removes hair quickly and efficiently—most areas were smooth after just a couple of passes, which saved a lot of time compared to other models I’ve used. One of the biggest surprises was the noise level. While epilators aren’t silent, this one is noticeably quieter than most, making the process much more comfortable overall. The pain level was also very manageable, especially with regular use. I also really appreciate the variety of attachments. They’re easy to swap out and make the device versatile for different areas and preferences. The build quality feels solid, and it’s comfortable to hold and maneuver. Overall, this is a high-quality epilator that delivers excellent results with less noise and effort. I’m very happy with it and would absolutely recommend it. Read more

I have had this epilator for 3 months now. I've waited until now to do a review because I wanted to give a fair appraisal of this epilator. My #1 reason for getting this is I can't see hairs underneath my chin and it was too difficult to tweeze there. This epilator does a decent job, with a few caveats. First of all, the hair needs to be about 1/16th of an inch long for the unit to grab the hairs. This is explained in the directions. And I don't think the hairs can be super long either or the unit will sometimes break the hair rather than pull it. Be aware that hairs grow in cycles; not all follicles will produce hairs at the same growth rate so for the first month you may think it's not working great because you're seeing too many hairs come in a few days or week later. That is because of the hair growth cycle. The longer you use it, the more effective it will become, IMO. If you use this epilator in different directions it can more effectively catch the hairs. Also. do not press down real hard - that mashes the hair and does not improve the unit's ability to catch the hairs. Also, be aware of any epilator that says it is painless. There seems to be a very loose interpretation of the word epilation ..... which technically means PULLING or tweezing the hair out! Since a true epilator is pulling multiple hairs at once it is going to hurt some! Many so called "epilators" (many of them cheapo) sold on Amazon and elsewhere are actually shavers. I sent a few back! I was impressed that I can use this epilator with a moderate degree of success on my upper lip as well. It's a bit large for that purpose and I didn't intend to use it for my upper lip, but I gave it a try and with a bit of patience and using different angles it does work. I have used it on my underarms as well. Interestingly I found that more painful than my my chin. It took at least 6 weeks of using this epilator once or twice per week until on my underarms until I saw very few hairs anymore. Again, that is due to the hair growth cycle. I am satisfied with the unit. I only use it dry on recently cleansed skin. And I clean the hairs out of the head unit after each use. I would imagine that a smaller one meant specifically for the face might do a better job on the upper lip, but the Braun Face Spa for instance was much more expensive. Read more

I bought this to replace the previous version I bought years ago. My go to brand, lasts a long time and gets the job done. This is my second one… pretty sure I’ve had the other one for over 5 years… definitely worth the price and waaaay cheaper than getting legs sugared every few months. TIP: If you’re new to epilating, use the skin guard that is provided until you’re used to sensation, then you can transition to the open guard. Skin guard should be used on armpits due to extra skin. Trim hair using clippers with guard that is provided BEFORE epilating… I use this on arms, legs, armpits and bikini line. Read more

I had an old Silk Epil model, bought in 2017, which served me for more than 8 years. I finally decided to buy a new model, it's a tricked-out 7, but it's a complete disappointment. Not faster, not quieter, no less painful. Nothing better than the one I had 9 years ago. Read more

Works great. The first time using it does hurt but after that it was fine. You do end up getting more ingrown hairs than when you shave. But the hairs aren’t as coarse overtime. Read more
