I am/we are super happy to have this machine - I'm picky about my machines and this is a good one and at a great price. I researched this purchase better than most because I wasn't real familliar with these machines or the process. I bought it mostly for my wife but I like having it also. I didn't think I needed the top of the line Breville at its cost...but this one...I can't imagine why I would need anything stronger than this one. The other must be for commercial or near commercial use. This machine doesn't miss a beet (pun & spelling intended) or bog down at all when pushing it pretty hard with carrots or apples or sweet potatoes. Lots of power - about 1.13 HP motor but it needs that kind of horse power/kW to spin the extractor at 13,000 rpm on high speed. That's what makes it work so well and produce dry tailings. AND it is so well made that it is very quiet even at that speed and working hard. The fit and finish is great, it's strong and sizable enough to handle bigger pieces of fruit and vegetables - not nearly the amount of prep cutting and so forth I see in the on-line videos of others using smaller machines. Cleaning and assembly is really simple and easy. Three parts - push the clamping bail in place - you're done. There's a little catch pail and a pretty good size pitcher - that's it. Instead of the pitcher, you can substitute a drinking glass or vessle of your choice. So now on the re-conditioned machines when they are available, that's how I bought and saved on the purchase of the one I bought. Frankly, it's my preferred way to buy appliances and the like and here's why. Too, I've done it that way for years and with no regrets. Generally "re-conditioned machine" doesn't mean broken and then repaired and then sold as new although it could. It never means "scratch & dent". They're always pristine. So here's why that's not a bad deal. Most re-conditioned machines are open box returns from retailers that can't be sold as "new" so the appliances are returned and a single technician at a single bench takes a close look at every item in the assembly and checks every operating parameter against specs then certifies it and it is sold with a factory guarantee at a pretty steep discount. Here's my take: do I want one that came flying of the assembly line where they spot-check the throughput (maybe 4:59PM Friday, if you follow my drift) or one that one tech went over every little detail? I used Champion juicers for many years, but for celery juice it was a nightmare to use. I decided to take a chance with this centrifugal juicer and it works sooo much faster and no noticible heating of the juice. This was super easy to clean. Came with a cleaning brush. Takes me 20minutes prep to finish instead of 1 to 2 hours that it took with the Champion. This model came brand new in the box no signs of wear or damage Read more

This is an excellent 2 speed Juicer. It performs as well as my previous Centrifugal Juicers. When properly assembled and disassembled, it is cleaner than my previous units. They designed the pulp Shute to set into the catch basket eliminating all of the splatter of older units. (I put compostable bags in the catch basket which aids in the prevention of splatter and makes clean up much better.) The juice tube extends well into the large pitcher and they provide an easy to slip on 90 degree rubber spout when you are just making a glass of juice. Either way, I have not seen any splatter resulting from the juice spout. The unit has rubber feet which prevent it from moving across the counter while in use. As with all centrifugal juicers, the pulp will be moist. This is not a Masticating Juicer which is slower and extracts more juice resulting in much drier pulp. Disassembly and cleanup is easy as no tools are needed. The only cleaning exception is the strainer basket as with any centrifugal juicer. They provide a good brush which makes relative quick work of cleaning the basket. I have put the parts in the top rack of the dishwasher without issue. I am glad I took a chance on this Certified Refurbished unit as I saved over $75 on a new one. It has many plastic parts so durability will be the only question. Time will tell. Read more

I bought this electric juicer with high hopes, but it was a total disappointment. On the very first use, it started smelling like something was burning and stopped working almost immediately. I didn’t expect a brand-new product to fail this fast. Total waste of money. I absolutely do not recommend it. Read more

I am leaving a review on this juicer after a year of owning it. This is a power horse, worth your money! A year after using, it still runs the same as the first time. I love the fresh juices and the layer of foam on top! It is easy to use, my only complaint is storage. The machine has many bulky parts that make it hard to store. It is not a reason to not buy, juwet an inconvenience for me when I am so particular about my cupboard organization. Read more

I purchased a certified refurbished juicer & you would never know it. It performs well & works as advertised. The juice it produces is the same temperature as the ingredients I put in it. I store my juice in glass mason jars (fridge & freezer) and as long as the jar is filled to nearly the rim there’s no separation (see photo - juice had been fridge 24 hrs). The motor is a efficient & can handle the toughest roots without clogging the machine. The slower speed is useful for softer fruits/veggies but if your ingredients are super ripe & really soft a lot of it will end up in the pulp bin. Clean-up is quick & easy. Btw, the brush that comes with it isn’t very good at cleaning the filter. A sponge with mesh covering cleans the filter best. I’m very pleased with the flavor & consistency of the juice. Overall this was a great purchase! Read more
