Like most women my age, I am conscious of "figure flaws" and the need to find clothing that doesn't exaggerate them, causing me to feel self-conscious about my appearance. These pants go a long way to slenderize and help me to feel comfortable about how I look, so I can get dressed and "forget myself". They go well with knit tops, cardigans, jackets. Update: I tried a larger size (18S rather than 16S), and the rear end issue is not as noticeable. They are very comfortable for winter wear. They are too thick for our summers here though. The short length is a tad too short, but the regular is much too long for me. I'm adding one more star. Take this review as if it were written by a very picky customer, because it is. I just received the slacks and tried them on, so I haven't worn them for a whole day at work, nor have I laundered them. First of all, the color is fairly true to the photo, maybe slightly darker, but definitely gray. They appear to be of decent quality with no manufacturing issues. The pockets are just decorative. I am 5'-3.5" and 160# -- mostly stomach fat. I bought a 14-short and the slacks fit perfectly in length, but are slightly snug, but they stretch, so that's okay. I like the fact that the waist sets higher than some other slacks, yet not too high for me. There's some bagginess in the front around the pelvic area, but that's hard to avoid when your figure is that of a six-months pregnant woman. The only issue I really have is how these slacks fit in the seat. They are snug, and though they stretch, I'm not thrilled with the butt-hugging look. I may keep them in spite of the rear end issue. I haven't decided yet. I'm not sure going up a size would help. I think it's just the way they're cut. Pity really, because other than that, these slacks would be excellent for the price. Read more

I absolutely LOVE these pants. I wear a 12 and they fit true to size. I do have a pretty big bubble butt, but they still fit nicely. They are sort of tight (as in they hug your figure) so if you are looking for a loose fit, this isn't for you. The high cut waist is awesome too for tucking shirts in or just because it keeps your tummy looking flat. I want them in literally every color. Highly recommend. Read more

The size was listed online as 14/small. Not knowing what this meant, I ordered the pants. The pants came in and the tag had 14/short. The pants were a nice fit to size but too short. Better description online would have avoided this issue. Read more

Love these pants! Was thrilled to be able to find them through amazon. Could not find them in any stores. They fit great, very comfortable! I wear them for work. They wear and wash nicely. One cautionary comment would be that they arrive very wrinkled and simply hanging them up or even washing them before wearing did not get the wrinkles out. I bought a steamer and that did the trick. I ordered these because a)they were cheap, and b)i needed brown work pants. The sizes were all listed with an 's' behind each of them, but I didn't know that meant petit. Maybe that's just me though, maybe i'm not qualified to shop for my own clothes and know what the letters mean. Whatever it is, they came and they said they were petit. The familiar fear of, 'Oh my god, I did it again, I ordered the wrong size" came through me, and I decided to go against my own hesitation and try them on. They actually aren't too short. I am 5'6'', and we'll just call me 'thick' for the sake of size estimate. I ordered the size 14 and they fit really well. I wear frequently and they have held up nicely so far for being $7 pants. The only complaint is the waist feels cheap and more like sweatpants (who can really complain about that though?). The buttons aren't sewn on really well. That's really the only downfall. I would order them again, maybe if I needed some cheap pants. You get what you pay for though, so these aren't high quality Sak's pants or anything.
