I had one pair of Briggs pants in my closet that I bought in a regular department store several years ago(?10+ yrs). I kept pulling them out to wear because they fit so nicely. When I noticed Amazon sold this brand, I decided to try them again. Same great fit! Different style and fabric(these are knit), but that's okay. I wear a 14 and have short legs(ugh!), so they are too long which I expected. I took them to be altered(Hemmed up about 3+")which made them not such a great buy, unfortunately. Still, I may buy them again in another color! (By the way, I ordered the Briggs "dress pants" style in a 14 short, but they were still too long plus I didn't care for the fabric or fit.) I would have given this particular style five stars if they hadn't been sooooo long. Unless, you have really long legs, plan on having them shortened:-( Read more

Nice looking grey/black plaid pants but a weird fit on me. I am average height, and they were too long and came up above my waist (above where a high raise pant sits) . if I was 5'9ish they would have worked. They also are more grey that they look more in the picture. only black is the thin plaid lines. had to return. But recommend for someone taller. Read more

I'm very small, 5'0" and 150 lbs. I expected the pants to be too big for my size but this is the smallest size. The only reason why i liked and still ordered even if i know that this is not my size is because of the review and kind of fabric. I've been looking for this kind of fabric for my office pants. I'm always out doing field works, and is this a perfect pants for me. I'm planning to alter the pants to suits my size. But all in all, I'm giving it a 5 star. Read more

These pants were perfect at first. They hit just right at the waist and at the ankle ,and they were flattering on plus size petite frames. They were also very breathable. Almost 5 months later I'm walking through the office, and after a routine waist adjust the pants start to sag. I hold them up long enough to get to the restroom to see what's happening and the entire elastic band is out. Feel free to buy if you want to temporary pair of pants-- otherwise invest in something that costs more. You won't get the bargain you think you're getting with these pants. Read more
