We tried a number of different path light and this was one of them. We live in the country in a area with no street lights. Dark in the country is often so dark you can't see your hand in front of your face. We ordered the cool white for more brightness, but brightness of the light is not enhanced by the design. In addition, this light is much smaller than it looks in the pictures, and, in my opinion, does not light enough area around it. Choosing outdoor lighting, whether online or in a store, you really don't know what they look like in your space until you try them. Fortunately, Amazon makes it easy to return product that don't meet expectations. On the plus side, this light looks to be well made, and color of the light would fit into any decor. Stakes are supplied to install the light at different heights. So, they can be placed in a garden above the foliage. Although these lights were too small and not bright enough for us, they may fit in much better in areas that are not so dark as ours.
