This lamps is bright and cool to the touch, allowing me to bump it up against a plant without worries of a meltdown. One of the nicest features I enjoy about this lamp is how the cord tucks into a slot in the poles, so you don't see a droopy wire. I've also hooked it up to an Alexa friendly outlet, so it turns off and on via voice command. I had some problems getting this. First of all, it was coming from the other side of the country, and due to COVID, some products including this one were shipping slower. When I finally got it I was so exicited, only to learn that it was damaged and missing parts. I contacted Brightech directly (as suggested), at first via phone, only to get a message that due to COVID, please send an email and wait up to a day. I actually heard back quickly, within an hour. They told me that Amazon was not supposed to resend out returned items, but said that it occasionally happens. They took care of ordering a new one for me, and said they would deal with Amazon. I was a bit concerned about how I would return the old one. With the size of the box, about 4' long, and with COVID, I wondered where I could drop this big boy off. They allowed me to destroy it once I got the replacement. The second one took longer to receive than the first one, over 2 weeks I believe. Again, I'm not pointing the finger at Brightech (they've been great!), but rather the slowness in freight shipments thanks to COVID. When I got the second box, it was a bit beat up which had me concerned. Fortunately, this time nothing was damaged and all the parts were there. Assembly went pretty well. The directions were translated from Chinese; the choppy English is always fun. I did have an issue with using the allen wrench on one of the legs. It took me three times to get it right. But I got there. Had it not been for that issue, the install would have been super simple and would have taken 5 minutes. My patience has been rewarded, and I love (love, love) this lamp. Read more

I thought they were a little too expensive but I went for it anyway because they're so unique. The first one broke immediately & started flashing & wouldn't stop until I unplugged it BUT I told them & they allowed me to return it free of charge. I loved them so much that I ordered another one before I had returned the broken one! It works great. I've got two identical lamps now. They are really very nice looking & adjustable for bright, medium & dim lights. I'm glad I got them! Read more

Pros: It's very cool looking. It provides lots of light and for where I have it I put it on it's lowest setting. Affordable for a specialty lamp. Can be a floor lamp or table lamp. Like the floor switch though for where I have it, it's not as convenient as they normally are. Cons: It is very bright and I do wish it had a dial dimmer on it so I can set the brightness level I want and leave it. I have not found anything mentioning how long the bulbs last. And I can only assume it's essentially disposable - when it burns out it will go to the trash as no mention on bulb replacement. Even with the cons, I don't have buyers remorse. It's fun and fixes my lighting issue as one end of my living room seemed so dark and finding a floor lamp that wasn't overwhelming and still provided enough light was difficult. We decided to upgrade some of our floor lighting and this style really stood out to us as both modern and energy efficient. It really does make an impression on people with its flair and contemporary art look while taking up only a small amount of floor space. One thing to keep in mind is it doesn't work in every room - like our family room while watching TV - as the light will flood the room. If you have a room where this isn't an issue this makes for a great lighting source. Be careful on assembly as you can crimp the wire from the lighting stands when screwing into the poles. This happened to me but the awesome customer service at Brightech made things right and sent replacement parts. Plus, they checked in afterwards to make sure we were happy. If we need lighting again we'll focus on Brightech first given this experience. Read more

The embrace style lamp is so eye catching & I’ve gotten lots of compliments. I love the soft glow, and love that I never have to change bulbs. The dimming levels are great. I would only use the brightest level if I was cleaning, because it’s very bright. The second level is great for reading. The lowest level is great for ambience if u are not reading. I’m obsessed & wish I had more lamp needs so I could get more of the various BrightTech lamp styles. My dog chewed the cord, and I didn’t know it had a cord hider in the pile at the time. Couldn’t go without this lamp so I bought another. Well worth it & excellent value! Read more

This is a perfect addition for our space; footprint is slim, exactly what we needed for the small area we had to work with. The height with the additional poles is perfect! It did take a bit to get the extra poles attached to the base but once we got it, the poles are secure. I didn’t remember the light has three settings which work well for us; brightest setting is great to light up the room and lowest setting for tv watching. We did add a command strip to the foot switch to attach to the wall so we could reach it with the placement behind our couch. Super happy with the lamp and the fit for our space! Read more

It's looks great, gives off a lot of light with three brightness settings. Needs to be placed in a 'protected' area where it won't be knocked over. This is my second one, the foot pedal failed after several years on the first one. When I contacted the seller about that, I got a response from them immediately, offering a discount on the second lamp - then they sent a follow up! Customer service! Read more
