This nightlight is dimmable and creates a wonderful ambience when you have to go into a dark room. Looks classy and I just love it. Update: I was so pleased with this light (and my husband asked if I was going to get a second one) that I ordered a second one to plug into the other set of shelves in our living room. I can concede that the second set of shelves may get more ambient light and this is why the second nightlight is dimmer, but the color tone of the light is also different. My first one puts out a warm tone and the second is cooler. I’m disappointed in this as I expected both lights to put out the same color tone. There is no button or information about switching the tone. The only button is a slider which controls the amount of light. And even that -the amount of light being put out- is different. The second purchase is dimmer even in a completely dark room. This really should not happen at this price point. Although I originally thought I paid too much for this light, I have changed my mind. I plugged it in when it arrived and it has been on ever since (about three weeks now). During the day it provides a little ambient light for my bookshelf and at night it becomes a nightlight n case anyone walks through the dark living room. There is no heat output from it; it is cool to the touch even now. The plug box is sturdy and the black shade is attractive. The weight of the product is light enough that it does not sag in the outlet. Hopefully you can see in the photos that the product size, while small, is large enough to accent the area well. So very pretty, and the lighting is just enough for my small bathroom. I love that it has a dimmer, but I don’t really use it. At full light, it’s really nice. I don’t know how I will replace the light once the bulb burns out. It doesn’t seem like a replaceable feature. It does take up a lot of space in the outlet. If you need to use another 3-pronged plug in the same outlet, you’ll have to remove the light. There isn’t room for both. Overall, very sweet. I’d buy it again. Read more
